Good performance but easily could have been 3-0 today. City wasn't really trying to get it either until the last 30.

Liverpool v Leeds
Man United v West Ham
Hull v Newcastle
Arsenal v Southampton

Meh draw. But big chance we get a tasty semi final + final at Wembley.

Draw:

Manchester United vs. Hull
Southampton vs. Liverpool

All set up for a Hull vs. Southampton final, then?

To be fair, don't Arsenal have quite a poor record against Southampton in the last couple of years? I might be misremembering things, though. I have memories of 3-0 last year.

Doesn't help that Wenger put the kids out, mind.

Liverpool 1-0 down to Southampton after the first leg. To be honest, they're lucky it's only 1. It could really have been a mauling tonight, but they go into the second leg with merely a small deficit to overturn.

Southampton beat Liverpool to make the final, and United's second leg against Hull (they're 2-0 up) kicks off shortly.

For as under-par as United have been in recent years, they could be on the cusp of winning back-to-back domestic cups, which would be quite a coup for them even if the cups aren't as valuable as they were in the 90s. Winning silverware on down years is a big boost.

Of course, they still have to finish off Hull and beat Southampton in the final, should they make it.

Final's today, in about an hour's time.

I can't look past United given current form, but Southampton should make it difficult for them.

2-1 Man United HT.

Mourinho's amazing cup final record seems to continue.

2-2 now. To be honest, Southampton have been the much better team and deserve to be in front if anything.

Zlatan is a god. Behind Messi and Ronaldo, easily the best player of this generation.

A winner, through and through.

lol, Martin Tyler is distraught.
