It's not even a joke. If they gave a penalty before, then this should have been a foul too...
What a joke that penalty was.
You can argue Alvarez collided on to the keeper. The keeper had the right to be there.
There's a sense that for whatever reason they want to give the WC to Argentina, so this is becoming a clown show to watch.
That's not how it works. In both cases, the keeper had zero claim to the ball whereas the attacker was in control and has just played the ball. The penalty was clear, as was the call.
Oh, the keeper is supposed to vanish into thin air?
If I have the ball and face you up, it's up to me to go around you. It's not up to you to get out of the way, so I can just go in a straight line.

Yep. Maybe if they had a Mandzukic, I'd be a believer.
Scoring against Brazil was a tough task. Not sure how they can get 2 here.

Peter Walton on ITV is obviously defending another ref but I think it was a pretty soft penalty for me.
Stannis wrote:Just some hopium... But the Croatian coach told his team to take it slow and calm down. So he wasn't in a rush to try and sneak in a goal before the half.
Maybe he knows something nobody else does lol
Argentina snuck one in and had a chance to equalize. We all still remember the Netherlands game.
And even the Saudis were able to come back from a 1-0
Impossible is nothing....
The difference here is that Argentina finally looks like they found their stride. They are really playing with a lot of swagger.
