3 combined goals within the first 20 minutes.

If Italy get a 2 or 3 goal lead, will Spaletti fall back like Italian coaches have done?

At least Albania has the fastest goal in Euro history. You can't take that away from us lol.

I didnt like the idea of 3rd place going through but I think it is opening up the game play, teams are taking more chances.

Normally first games are stale.

That fast goal was actually a bad thing for Albania. They got too comfortable and thought they could just cruise to a 1-0 win like they did in the qualifiers several times.

Really like Scamacca ever since he destroyed Liverpool defense last year, my dark horse candidate for the golden boot.

Albania doesnt look as organized as I expected defensively.

Scamacca and De Ketelaere were pivotal in running Alonso out of the building in the Europa final as well. They bullied Leverkusen's backline.

Shame the West Ham move didn't work out, but he's a player.

Good half from Italy besides the gift at the start. Calafiori—who only just got his first cap last week—has been playing amazing. Barella with a great half as well. We need to not come out looking comfortable

Yeah, no surprises so far in the results, but I'm enjoying this a lot.

Italy sends 8 players to the box in a corner kick while they are ahead, they really don't like Albania's chances of hitting them on the counter lol

whenever italy loses the ball they are very determined to quickly get it back, you'd think they were down a goal

Rey Manaj can be dangerous, he was on a tear towards the end of the season and plunged the dagger into Fenerbahce's title run, Albania needs play him more upcoming games.

He missed a sitter as I am typing ahah

All the subbing made it ugly for us at the end, but we got the job done. Spain next, will be tough.
