Spurs vs. United final it is. Mad that Ange or Amorim are going to end this season with a European trophy considering how utterly dismal it's been for both managers. Let's go Spurs. Let's end this trophy hoodoo.

Lol @ Mason Mount looking like a world beater out there.
And JFC, Harry. Last few weeks you've looked great and then today that pass to freaking nowhere was atrocious.

Honestly, the Europa League doesn't look good having a final between the two PL clubs currently sitting 15th and 16th. What does that say about the rest of the leagues?

Tbf these two teams' budgets were the highest in the competition probably by some margin

And yet, PL clubs with less budgets are routinely defeating both Tottenham and Manchester United -- it's because they aren't very good.

Looking at CL, Inter Milan surely doesn't have the budget of Barcelona, yet they were able to advance.

To me, there's a serious issue of quality in the EL now that CL has this new format.

40m Bodo playing against 900m Tottenham is not same as 700m Inter playing against 1B Barcelona, there are levels of difference.

Pretty sure the poorest club in PL has more money than more than 95 percent of the clubs that played in the Europa league this season.

Using Bodo as an example emphasizes how poor the quality in the competition is.

Amount of money team has generally correlates well with the quality of the team, it is not like teams like Bodo competed below their means or expectations. It is what its, secondary competition.

Nervous for tonight's final. From best to worst, here are the possible outcomes in my mind:

1. Spurs win, Ange leaves
2. Spurs win, Ange stays
3. Spurs lose, Ange leaves
4. Spurs lose, Ange stays

I desperately want Spurs to finally lift a trophy and end this awful drought. I also want to see Sonny finally get some reward for his loyalty to this club. But I also know how spawny and lucky United get at times, their prestige as a club carrying them in finals even when they're otherwise dismal. I really couldn't call it.

That would be an absolute dream, but I also might die of tension if that's how it pans out

LETS GOOOOOO.

Johnson's movement in the box is so good.

Feel like Spurs have been the lesser of the two sides in the first half, but finals are for winning.

Don't love the way Ange has set up, but not really his fault with no Kulu or Madders.

It's been bitty and low quality. The goal was scrappy but I felt like if we kept putting balls in to the front three we would eventually score, and we did. You can sense the confusion and lack of communication in the United backline. We need to do more of it in the second half.

This is true. Yanited are clearly trying to attack you with width and I feel like you're doing a well enough job limited that to half chances, with 3 MFs though ideally the goal is to grab control of the game and slow possession, but none of Sarr/Bissouma/Bentancur are really those profiles of players.

Bergvall would nice to have.

Expected some more twists in the second half, final is far from over.
