Man, Bayındır should’ve done better on that Arsenal corner goal. Just like last season, this team’s goalkeepers get bullied during set pieces.

Maybe I missed something, but Arsenal won that game yesterday...

While that is true at least so far United played very well. This is definitely a big leap from what we've seen in previous seasons.

Obviously winning vs top teams is not a given nor is it easy. But this is the way. Let's judge at least after 10 games, I still believe United will surprise a lot of people this season.

I would agree the Red Devils played better. However, their issue last year was not facing the "Big 6" clubs. One reason or another, they raised their level. But it was against the mid- and lower-table teams where Manchester United struggled.

Last year, Manchester United drew the following:
- vs. Chelsea
- @ Liverpool
- vs. Arsenal
- vs. Manchester City

And won the following:
- @ Manchester City
- @ Arsenal (FA Cup)

I am curious to see how it goes this Sunday at Fulham. But, as you say, one or two games isn't enough to make a judgment.

Man Utd ideally want to play a more counter attacking style, so Arteta did chose to play a more controlling style of football.
Give Man Utd the ball and see what they can do with it. Tbf, they played fairly good, but they only had a couple of chances.

The way it's portrayed in the media, you would think Arsenal lost by a big margin.
The reality is they won at Old Trafford, only for the third time in the last 16 years.

I guess to get the window to at least a 9/10.

Sell Onana
Sell Hoijland
Sell Zirksee
Sell Malacia
Sell Antony
Sell Garnachooooo
Sell SANCHOOOOO

Buy Lammens
Buy Any midfielder good or for potential.

Trade Bayindir for De Gea or Peanuts

As I told you earlier this summer, other clubs will not pay what Manchester United want, especially for players the club has openly stated are not wanted by Amorim.

It's getting to the point where we will see loans instead of sales. Garnacho to Chelsea may happen, but I'm curious to see how reduced the fee will be.

Same difference to me. As long as their is obligation involved, we are both right.

With how much Manchester United has already spent (over £200M), and no sales or European competition to offset, I'm starting to think the club is dipping its toes into next summer's kitty.

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens for around €20m (£17m), with the 23-year-old expected to compete with André Onana.

Bruno really frustrates me. Just a really terrible penalty shot.

How long it took the ‘Big Six’ managers to win back-to-back Premier League games:

Arne Slot – 2 games
Pep Guardiola – 2 games
Thomas Frank – 2 games
Enzo Maresca – 5 games
Mikel Arteta – 9 games
Rúben Amorim -- 29 games and counting

Note he's managed more games (29) than points earned in the league (28).

what he said is quite the opposite of an excuse. It's plain reality lol

Still, they've got a good group of players, and anyone who leaves seems to excel (McTominay another prime example).

Reminds me of all the crap Cristiano talked in his Piers Morgan interview about the club itself... turns out he wasn't full of crap

Amorim needs to play a striker. What the hell was that trio. Mount needs to be cut from the starting 11. Dude is NOT good enough for a starting spot.

Try to give Mainoo at least some minutes. Bruno and Mainoo, Bruno besides Cunha or Mbueno at least for some stretches of the game.

Oh my the game against Fulham was really disapointing. Either Amorim starts winning or after 10 games he is gone, for sure!

I mean, you and I both know what transfers still need to be made going into next summer.

RWB, LWB, Some midfielders, a CB and a goalie at the minimum.

I cant let Amoram get away scotch free but the cleansing at United is finally happening. This squad is mid table and hope they get some stuff clicking to push top 6.

United is starting to get a fresh new squad in there. Bruno and Casimiro will probably be out next summer and we can finally get a 6 and 8 in there that will domimate the midfield. It is clearly our weakest area.

Also remember that most teams in the premiere league are actually getting better and have good players now. Those mid table teams actually have good young talent. We clearly arent at the Liverpool, Arsenal, etc level. After the 2026 summer, i bet we will a lot closer.

What I struggle to comprehend is how Frank has made more of an impact on his team after three matches than Amorim has since he took over last year. That cannot all be down to players.
