Had to triple check he was still on the board, love having him and Witsel creating from deep with Modric to link. Hamsik was a guy I hoped would fall due to his quieter year though. The running and workrate he brings to the ten position is rather unique and would've loved to have him and Modric assisting Suarez-costa.

Why do you think I said it the way I did. If he had any balls or talent he'd play for turkey.

At least he made a bold claim. That's the most important thing.

a) Everybody makes predictions. Sadly, it's human nature. Some people just have a habit of turning the occasion into a self-promotion event. In the last few months alone, i predicted that Chelsea would sell Mata and Luiz within the year, and every Chelsea fan who bothered to respond disagreed. And i predicted that England and Italy would make the Quarters at the WC. That turned out well.

b) There is nothing admirable or intellectually superior about making bold claims. There is a fine line between bold and stupid. The scientific pursuit is to ensure that your claims and predictions are so well backed by evidence and analysis that they cannot possibly seem bold.

Had a pretty solid year at Wolfsburg and with the Swiss national team this year. Perhaps BuLi is why he's seeming unfamiliar? 8-)
Great two way player, excellent set piece taker, great crosser, and one of those LBs that seems to do a lot offensively without leaving the left flank completely exposed. Don't think that can be said for many other LBs in Europe last year.
