Apparently Potter wants to take a break from management. I can see Leicester trying to go for Ange Postecoglu, I think he’s a good manager although he coaches in a league where Celtic are dominant.

I always thought that Potter would need a break. I think he's mentally in a bad place. I don't want another Celtic manager. It's a false comparison of work load and pressure.
Rafa is a possibility. Personally I'd go for Wilder on an end of season contract where he earns a big bonus for confirming our survival and I'd use the next few weeks to sound out decent managers. We're not getting a Poch or Zidane. I don't want Marsch or Hassenhuttl. Don't know Hutter. Will Still intrigues me and could be someone for the summer if we can't get a well known decent manager.
We want someone with desire, motivational skills and a want to play exciting forward football.

Re: 2022-23 English Premier League Discussion Thread
That Everton vs. Spurs match was disgusting. I don't even have words.
What is the point of firing Conte if you're just going to put his number two in charge who uses the same tactics, picks the same players, etc. Don't get me wrong, Conte was right about our team's frail mentality, but I am sick to death of 343.
I would be happy if Levy and half of this team follows Conte out of the door.

Levy doesn't have controlling ownership interest?
So you'd want new owners?

Daniel Levy owns a 29% stake in ENIC, the group that owns Spurs. Joe Lewis is the controlling owner of ENIC and Spurs, and presumably he appointed Levy as chairman. I would assume that he can be replaced as chairman with no change in ownership.
I'm not necessarily chomping at the bit to get him out, like some fans are. I think he and the board have made some very poor playing staff and personnel decisions, but there's no denying that under ENIC's stewardship the club has grown dramatically, and it's not just a consequence of being in the Premier League and in London. The only thing lacking is silverware, and that's not for lack of trying.

Re: 2022-23 English Premier League Discussion Thread
Chelsea vs. Liverpool has been about as poor in quality as Everton vs. Spurs yesterday. Awful.
Chelsea have made some decent chances but completely squandered them, and Liverpool look absolutely finished and it feels like there's no dynamism or direction to their passing.

It's been especially disappointing watching Perisic. A great technical player but looks out of sorts most of the time.
It's time for 5 refs.

Toney missed first penalty ever today... that perfect record was meant to be spoiled some day. Massive comeback from behind win for Newcastle though.

Haaland's second goal was beautiful.
Not sure how Spurs won today. That was spawny. Amazing goal from Sonny, though.

I didn't watch but from what I've read "spawny" isn't the word. Corrupt would be better. Big 6 protection at it's best.

Man this Saliba injury is so annoying , relying on Rob Holding another spring with everything on the line makes my stomach turn.

Got lucky there. Liverpool with nothing to play for dropping a worldie of a second half on us.
Arteta so scared to make subs. It's still in our hands but if City beat us at the Etihad it's on to GD and we might be cooked

I think you're probably cooked now even if you draw with City due to harder fixtures in May.

So... are we not going to talk about the ref elbowing Robertson?

A statement read: "PGMOL is aware of an incident involving assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis and Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson at half-time during the Liverpool v Arsenal fixture at Anfield. We will review the matter in full once the game has concluded."
