Lichaj on the right is a possibility. There's also some 20 year old CB in Europe...Woodgate I think?

Did Agudelo ever get his work permit sorted with Stoke? And any idea what Stokes stance is on Shea after another year of him being a Sheadiot?

This team was so overrated and the hipsters and posers were out in full swing!
made me sick.. ye they played well but they parked the bus against the great teams!
give Tim Howard credit but other than that this team is a joke!
im glad they are finally out and all the posers can be gone

unless Shea turns out to be an effective professional, he will be skipped over for Green

and im a huge fan of Shea
i wouldnt care if he goes to a lower level league
just for a chance to start, and play.....ALOT

I like Shea the talent and was a big have of his eccentric-ness...but lord, he's a real dummy. In MLS he thought he was God's gift to the sport and started kicking balls at refs. Then he gets kicked off loan at Burnley I believe.

Lichaj has never really gotten a shot with the US team, which is a shame. I think Mix is the future at the 10 for us. A diamond with him at the top and Bradley at CDM is what we will likely play moving forward. But when it comes to the wingers...we have a lot of questions with the answers likely being our MNT teenagers. And Josh Gatt if he ever develops and stops being such a hot head.

Other than Howard, I pretty much agree with everything there. I expect Howard to still be very good in 4 years. The guy ages very well and keepers can play forever.

USA has locked down 2 games, one in September, other in November. Both are on the road.

9/3 against Czech Republic in Prague and 11/18 against Ireland in Dublin. There are 4 more dates available that the team can play if they want.

) he's **** RAW. Pace to burn with a scorer's mentality. He's exactly what we're missing on the wing.

I still would like to poach germans and other latin american kids with US roots.

Uhhh to be clear, I meant raw as in talented, not raw in reference to his development. He starts today if he already had citizenship. He's very polished, but I'm concerned that his ceiling is Eddie Johnson. As long as he hits that way earlier than Eddie did (basically at age 28-29), I think he could be a dope player for us.

I'd love to see more latinos on the team, when I was growing up every best player in your league out here was latino. That's a core part of the U.S. youth system and i hope more break through with the senior team.

As for dual citizens primed for making the switch, Zelalem is the big one. Some German Americans are...

Jerome Kiesewetter - He's cool, not great though.
Shawn Parker - pretty good
Joe Gyau/Junior Flores - the ones to watch

Paul Arriola and Luis Gil are two I'm hoping will usher in the thrill of latin-american soccer, but time will tell.

Flores is not German-American, he's Salvadoran-American. He's just based in Germany with Borussia Dortmund.

Is Zelalem that close to citizenship? That'd be huge.

I hope we get a friendly game with a non-concacaf World Cup team. A game or two against one of the top 8 would be nice. Netherlands and Colombia would be ideal games.

Yah I just kinda lumped him in there since he's on a German team. Zelalem is pretty close from everything I've read, and he apparently only has eyes for the USMNT for whatever reason.
