Lloris is absolutely hopeless.

You need to get this guy out of the Spurs.

how Lloris didnt save Dybala's PK is mind bending

i know easy for me to say from here but that looked VERY savable and they needed one from Lloris.

All three penalties looked 'dubious'. Messi one, Lloris just sold himself. Second down the middle, not even with power (compare this with the French guy having to blast it) and then to top it off... he can't parry that one.

Meanwhile, Martinez was doing dirty stuff and getting in their heads.

I don't know what happened to Lloris... but he has been a weak link for a few seasons. He plays for Baphomet's team... so I am sure he's familiar with his declining performances.

This whole WC for some reason goalkeepers sell themselves before the shot is even taken. To be fair it's worked.

He's still a good shot stopper but his kicking and decision making have sharply declined, and they weren't particularly elite in the first place.

I have the impression that in general, he's had some seasons of late where he has had some howlers.

I also feel like he is kind of a part of a "status quo" at Spurs. Basically since making that CL final, feels like they've been treading water and heads need to roll.

Obviously, this is ridiculous to be talking about a keeper in penalty kicks... but all 3 Argentina pens looked 'soft' and it's crazy he sold himself badly in the first two and didn't get the 3rd.

Like... how does the ref watch this stuff and not give him a yellow card on the spot.

Yeah, this has been basically a perfect World Cup top to bottom. This WC had it all.

Only bad thing I can think of is just Qatar being a pretty amateur national team and performed poorly. But we basically had Morocco rise to the occasion, and became the unofficial home team in the knockout stage.

Lloris should have done the same thing. It's fhe Finals. If you aren't trying everything to get in your opponents head you're not trying at all. Guess it's not in his personality to do that. I'd have done the exact same thing. As soon as i saw that nervous smile on Tchoumani face i knew he'd miss.

Messi gets the WC win.

Mbappe gets the Golden Boot.

10 vs. 10 epic match for the ages.

Disgusting win for Argentina, this WC will remain noted for all the bs penalties and lenient ref attitude towards them throughout the entire tournament. There has never been a less likable team full of floppers and cheaters all around. There should be a compilation of all of missed yellow cards and bad ref calls that went their way.
On the good side of them, their keeper was superb the whole time so kudos to him, rest of the team are all unlikable d-bags.

My favourite player is still Zidane, poetry with his feet, but full credit to Messi for his accomplishments, culminating with the lone missing trophy in his last chance to get it.

Incredible story.
