What's the upside of becoming the 3rd string striker for a young player? I don't see it.
He should've gone to a mid-table/pretender EPL/Bundesliga/La Liga team as striker number 1 or 2. It's not like Chelsea will pay a 3rd string striker more salary than other teams would offer Kramaric for a starting role either.

If that turned out well offers from big clubs will come sooner than later.
With the current situation player agents can demand basically everything from clubs. Getting a managable buyout clause in there wouldn't have been the problem. Prove yourself at a mid-table club in EPL --> You'll instantly get much better financial offers than if you come out of Croatia.

Even in the unlikely event that Kramaric proves himself at Chelsea...he is locked in a low budget contract for years.

I'd say Kramarics agent has done a relatively terrible job.

Chelsea obviously did great business.

Maybe the guy wants to improve to a better striker? Training with the likes of Costa, going up against Terry/Cahill and being coached by Mourinho could be good for his development. Whilst I agree that being loaned out would be a good idea for him and this is what I'm presuming is gonna happen.

After Drogba retires, him and Bamford will compete for the 3rd string/cup games. Loser gets loaned out, but I doubt they'd want to loan out Bamford again considering his progression in the last couple of years so most likely it's going to be Kramaric leaving next year. At the end of the day it's low risk/high reward for Chelsea (like you said).

I really hope Cuadrado makes the move to Chelsea. That would be such a good fit for both player and club

You would hope for that!

At what point do you have enough wingers!? I'm sick of it...SICK OF IT! Come to Tottenham, where you will have 0 competition for playing time, a shot at a top 6 finish, average wages and a chance to be loved by our four fan posters on realgm.

German newspaper Bild is reporting that Chelsea and Borussia Mönchengladbach have come to terms on a permanent move of Thorgan Hazard to the German side.
They're reporting that Borussia will pay 8 millio Euros for the young Belgian.

Then they can have a 40 second highlight video of them touching the ball 3 times against a Romanian Europa League team, with crappy EDM music and the filter that's on every Youtube football highlight video.

You know the one, where it looks like you're peering through a midget's butthole.

I like Tottenham, but from a player's perspective, it would be a lateral move. One Europa League club for another.

You guys should go all in for Reus. At least you can promise him Eurppa league football lol. Anyways, do you guys have a real shot at winning the EL this year?

Well, I'm taking a glance over the remaining clubs in the round of 32, and these are the teams who I think would most likely beat us over two legs:

Roma
Sevilla
Napoli
Liverpool
Wolfsburg

Liverpool aren't very good this season, but they really have our number lately. Assuming we can avoid these teams until the semis, I think we stand a pretty solid chance. Of course, we have to get through our tie against Fiorentina first, which is quite an ask in itself, even if they are struggling this season. They have an x-factor in Cuadrado who could terrorize our slovenly fullbacks on his day.

Always thought buying him for 1M was just as a favour to Hazard's family, but I guess it was another good business lol. Didn't know Borussia rated him that highly, but I'm hoping there's a buy back clause.

Seems like Enes Ünal to Gladbach could happen now or next summer.

His agent states that it was almost done last summer but didn't work out because the president of his club died etc.

What can the folks who follow Süper Lig tell me about him? Did he improve over time?

I mean, we've been linked to him for almost two years or so and he was touted as one of the biggest talents there.

I saw him at the U17 Euros and he was a beastly man among boys, but i dunno how that'll translate to his pro career.
