Poor Brazil. Neymar should have played this one. No one cares about the olympics

If it was up to Neymar, he would have played in both.

Handball for sure, but I know a lot who will call it karma for what happened against Ecuador.

That's embarrassing for a team like Brasil to not make it to the quarters.
Olympics is big but what about the pride? it's like losing 7-1 to Germany.

With Brasil and Uruguay knocked out, where are we heading? Argentina must win it now! A little something after losing out on the WC.

Brazil has been a joke of a team in the past 5-6 years. The last time this team truly had a quality and competitive team was like in 2009-10. And it's not lack of talent. CBF politics are screwing Brazil's tradition.

They don't have a great midfield in my opinion, take away Neymar and they don't have much of an attack either.

Still should have at least qualified from this group though.

I think the central midfield is subpar. Casemiro is the only close to being world class in this midfield and he's DM. But wings still qualifies as midfield in Dunga's 4-1-4-1./4-2-3-1 hybrid. Brazil selected Coutinho, Willian and Lucas Moura to play Copa America, with Neymar and Douglas Costa absent. There's no better depth at the wings than Brazil right now.

Dunga wasting Marcelo and Thiago Silva away from the roster also sucks, two of the few world class players Brazil has.

There's definitely a hole in CM, ST and GK imo.

You are right, I should have been more specific, their wingers are obviously fine.

Yeah don't see us making it past the probable winner of the tournament.
