I was dreaming of a Fabinho-Keita-Fekir midfield this summer and we just started Henderson-Milner-Lallana. Please make it stop.

Not sure I blame the mid-field, but yes! Where the hell did our offense go? FFS....we finally have the defense to go ALONG with our offense to contend, and our offense is mediocre at best.

God hates me, thats my theory.

Will say.......good on the Huddersfield fans. Happy just to be there. And why not? Enjoy a good Saturday afternoon with your team. Very impressed with the home crowd.

Certainly a game we tie last year. Far from impressive on our end. I'm sorry, but I find it just amazing the difference between Van Djik (spelling) and the rest of the defense. He is on such a different level....and what a difference having a good defender makes (and I'm not sure Id even call him amazing...but my god, he's other level compared to the rest).

3 points on the road....so I feel like a dick complaining. But we gotta get our offense back. This squad isn't perfect...but if our offense is anything like last year....we have a legit chance.

Some good link-up this last game. First half was a little slow, but then it picked up. We gave up a pretty unlucky goal, other than that, we pretty well dominated.

Mane and Salah are starting to hit form, and it's great. If they can rock like this, and our defense remains solid (It's not great, but it's solid) I think we will contend.

Alot of season left, and we do have a couple weak spots. So I'm not calling it our year yet....but we have to goods to be in the hunt.

Next game is Arsenal. Prob a better test for our "new found offense".

Our attack is looking better the last couple games. Better set-ups, things look a bit more crisp. Granted, there's a difference between Man-City and Cardiff. Hopefully Salah and Mane bring it this weekend.

Draws starting to rack up. On par for double-digit draws yet again. Such a waste

Embarrassing.

Full credit to Red Star Belgrade for playing well. I wouldn't be shocked if there some minor fallout from tonight's loss.

The boys and the coaching staff better wake up soon or else we won't be in contention for any silverware.

All that pasing the ball along the back line for hours on end was boring and unproductive.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Interesting game yesterday. Our defense looks good, but let in some really dangerous balls from time to time. Our first goal was 10 seconds after what prob should have been their first goal. That offsides is razor close.

Dunno....Firminho goes so quiet these days. We seem to individually out-class alot of teams, but we rarely play as a cohesive unit. Yesterday could have easily been a 3-1 loss. Yet we prob should have won 4-0 considering how much we dominated. I will say this: prob one of those insufferable ties last year. And for all my griping....we're right there at top. So keep it up.

Something's not right though, with a few players. We have 2 weeks off, and then another marathon of games till early Jan. We'll see how it goes.

This season goes on as a Liverpool - Man City rivalry both in CL and EPL i guess

I just don't think we're playing well enough to seriously compete. Today we had several crosses where there wasn't a guy there to complete. We just aren't on same page......just not firing offensively like the last couple years.

Such an effin' shame too......we finally got that Defense / midfield to compete. Yeah...neither are top-notch, but they're more than respectable. Throw last years offense on this years mid/def.....and we either get it, or run with Man-C right up to the end.

Coming into that stretch here. Capped off once again with a game against MC on jan-1st. Gotta hope we start clicking offensively, or else I think MC game will just be our final nail for the season.

For what its worth....we're getting damn lucky this year. It's keeping us afloat, but it's time to get into 5th gear. We're only gonna get so many 95th minutes flukes.

3 Goals by Salah is more like it.

I was reading that going "what is he talking about??"....and then I looked and holy-%%% there was a game! Really busy at work, so I didn't even notice! Good win there too, it looks like.

We're playing better. Klopp def has built a good team....no doubt. Let's see if we can survive the next few weeks.

Only 6 goals given up in 16 premier league matches. That's by far the most ridiculous stat this year.
