Re: Official Team USA Thread
That was a nice free kick by Shea. This team definitely needs work.

with the roster thats at this game
idk who to put on the wings
id think, if u bring Green and Yedlin from over seas
they would start, or play for sure
my preference, with the roster for this game
......zardes.......agudelo
.......ngyuen - diskerud
.............bradley
...........beckerman
shea - besler - omar - yedlin
..........yarborough
i expect a 4-5-1 or 4-2-3-1

Re: Official Team USA Thread
Seems like the U.S. is a decent sized favorite here as Mexico is dealing with a lot more new faces who are fringe players for the NT.

Re: Official Team USA Thread
Is Jordan Morris worth the hype.
Ive been hearing a lot about this kid lately. I know he scored a goal against Mexico on the 15th of April but IMO the goal wasn't that impressive. I didn't watch the game i only saw his and agu's goal. I also heard that Seattle offered him a contract to make him the richest homegrown player. After one game i think its kinda silly but i could be wrong because i only saw 40 seconds of the game. Is Morris worth all the attention ?

I can't comment too much about him, but apparently he has gotten offers from all over the place, including Europe but elected to stay at Stanford. Now that was before his US app, but he seems highly rated.

Yeah, after doing alot more research on him he looks pretty promising, I truly believe he can surpass Dempsey and Altidore. Due to his strength decent height and speed Morris looks pretty legit. He kinda reminds me of Harry Kane a bit. If he improves on his finishing and dribbling skills he can be a real threat.

Re: Official Team USA Thread
Missed most of the first half, saw about 30 minutes in...USA got better when Yedlin, Morris, and Williams came on IMO. Bradley was outstanding.

Re: Official Team USA Thread
What a game. This win is good for the ego. Terrible defense though.

Re: Official Team USA Thread
He had a bad season at Hamburger SV so Klinsmann says he is giving him a break whatever that means.

Re: Official Team USA Thread
We have had some decent chances. We need to prevent ze germans from scoring again and we might be able to scratch.
