Bvb is awful at defending anyway. They are not any better than wolfsburg. Dortmund just conceded 3 goals from scandinavian team. Bayern would rip them apart.

The league has become a joke. Everyone is looking forward to see when Bayern will finish the league whether match day 20-25 or 25-30.

We called it years ago saying that monopoly is rising. People were laughing. Now monipoly team has been dominating the league for years and it seems they will keep it at least for another 5 years.

Btw what a horrible goalkeeper Neuer has become. Made so many mistakes in Wolfsburg match in which one of them was almost going in to make it 0-2. Always found him overrated but this season he is worse than what i would expect from him.

Wow. For once I agree with you. Feels like he has gotten worse in recent years. It's probably his cocky attitude. Feels like that got even worse after winning the world cup.

Difference is that even though Bayern are in a league of their own, the teams fighting for the CL and EL spots are still playing very good football. Yeah, it would be a lot better to have a couple of teams challenging Bayern for the title. But people here often act like that's what it's all about and the BL is boring just because of Bayern's dominance. I couldn't disagree more with that.

Not to mention, the quality of football in the Scottish league is terrible, it's a tactical abyss. It used to be on TV all the time here when I was younger, so I'd sometimes watch it out of boredom. At least in the Bundesliga you still get exciting football played in general, even if Bayern are probably a few notches above their competition. Nobody wants to see Dundee hoofing the ball up the pitch 50 times over 90 minutes.

Whether Wolfsburg is second best or BVB is inconsequential. As impressive as Bayern is, it's not good for the league.

If instead you want to watch attractive football then try a random BuLi match.

What a start from HSV. Labbadia has really organized the team well.

11Freunde had HSV finishing 8th before the season. I can see it being higher than that.

Labbadia effect will soon be over, though. He never lasts much longer than a year. No relegation battle for Hamburg this year. Stuttgart and Hannover are already out of reach. :lol:

That said first 5-6 games mean nothing. We started strong as well last year first five games and then were the worst team in the freaking league until Hjulmand was fired.

While I don't see them finishing higher than that, they are certainly playing way better than they did in years. Love or hate HSV/Labbadia, but so far they're/he's doing a good job.

11Freunde had us finishing 17th btw. I hope we keep this up and prove them wrong.

I'm not sure I follow your argument re. Porto and Shaktar, but regardless, I do think they face a bit more of a challenge in CL, as they should.

Regardless, my comment was not based on quality of the game. I too have watched Scottish soccer, that was not the point...

I would rank the level of BL on par (or close to it) with EPL and La Liga, but I personally do have a problem with foregone conclusions in terms of league champions.

Just for argument's sake, since 2000, here's the breakdown of league champions in the major leagues (no offence to others, such as the Super Lig which seems to have at least one rabid supporter around here...

Bundesliga: 6 different champions, 9x Bayern
EPL: 4 different champions, 7x ManU
La Liga: 4 different champions, 6x Barcelona
Serie A: 5 different champions, 6x Juventus

I'll be the first to admit that I was suprised that there were 6 champions in BL, but with the current trend and money distribution, I just cannot see another Stuttgart or Werder scenario in the near future. And let's not even reminisce about the Kaiserslautern miracle...

Don't get me wrong, I'll still be watching, mainly my 1. FC Koln, but I can't deny that it does diminish the appeal. I don't have a lot of time on my hands, and the fact that Sportsnet World (or Fox) seem to show most Bayern games, was actually a reason for me not to sign up. Instead I went with an online Koln package and for the occasional side show games in the fight for CL spots, I'll stream.

I am neither a huge fan nor frequent a viewer of EPL, but I do think that there is a bit less predictability.

poor guy. This is the first thing you need to learn on this board. You never say your real opinion at Germans. Then following happens;

No matter how logical your post is, first German will call you troll. Then second German comes in to take a shot one of the teams that you listed under your name. Then third German will quote the second person and laugh at it etc. Then fourth German will come in to add things onto second German'spost to change the whole subject to your team instead of your criticism is completely logical and accurate about Bundesliga. At this point, you are a troll and your teams suck instead of talking about buli.
