He's our better striker in every aspect except in work rate and versatility which Jose values too much sometimes. Hope he can continue to play week in week out and make other top teams drop more points. First part's already done as long as he stays healthy.

We loaned out our best striker and possibly one of the EPL's best strikers. Good job!

Well, at least he's still your player when all's said and done. I can't say I understand the loan deal though, or any of Mourinho's moves this season if I'm being completely honest. With that said, it can't hurt too much to see one of your lads tearing it up, albeit for another club. It's all good experience.

Eto'o was definitely his signing, but I doubt Schurrle, Willian and van Ginkel were because they'd been linked with us long before he rejoined. I think the only move that made sense to everyone was Schwarzer signing lol. Lukaku loan was and is still difficult to understand, but I can see it being beneficial in the long run if he continues to play and score. At least Everton are a good team and they should be even more fun to follow than WBA last season. Trio of Lukaku, Barkley, and Deulofeu is a raw one but will be a pleasure to watch for a season.

A Ba and Lukaku duo would have been fun to watch. Chelsea and Man City seem to be too busy trying to scoop up every big name player out there instead of realizing that they already have great players that they should be giving time to.

Barkley is going to get a big pay day in a year or two.

Did Mourinho not loan out Lukaku so he did not have to loan out Ba to Arsenal?

If he didn't want Ba in an Arsenal kit, why not just loan him out elsewhere?

Oh well, I am glad that Lukaku is doing well. I hope this is the last time we ever loan him out.

As expected no ban for Torres. Since the officials saw the coming together (although not the scratching) they say they can't act due to the rules.

lol at the FA constantly acting like their hands are tied by the rules. Guess what FA, they're your own rules! You made them, you can change them. Or not abide by them, unless you're going to punish yourself!

I expected him to be banned for 4 games because I heard they changed the rules in summer. Guess the change wasn't significant and it remains the most ridiculous thing in English football. Dean should also have been demoted for this weekend.

I wonder how much Suarez would get for that lol. Probably 6. The bastard is mad enough to do it too. Fully expect him to do something like this by March lol.

Rumors floating around Twitter today Zaha is boning Moyes daughter and Carroll is in rehab for cocaine. The latter is probably true tho.

I gotta admit, I think I'd be kinda disappointed if we had a whole season without any Suarez antics.

He seems very calm during his first two games. It's a little surreal. His wife is always yelling at him to stop being a jerk. Maybe's he finally listened.

Nah he'll probably drag Jednak by his hair this weekend.

"I did not accept Arsenal's offer for Demba Ba because added to their signing of Ozil, they would have been title contenders," Mourinho said, according to reports in several newspapers.

He wouldn't have loaned any of the strikers to Arsenal, but that doesn't mean he had to loan Lukaku out. He could have either kept all 3, or loan Ba to a different team.
