Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Looks like Gibbs is back for Munich, that's a relief. I say drop Vermaelan and play Kos and Mert in the middle, Jenks on the right. Fabianksi might start over Szcesney, neither really fills me with confidence. Fabianksi has his shaky moments, Szcz likes to parry shots directly to an opponent. Doesn't matter too much, I'd be fine with playing our NextGen side for this game.

Rumours linking Podolski to Juventus today, and we're trying for Jordan Lukaku, Romelus younger brother, apparently a gooner.

I wouldnt mind aubemeyang , have no clue on anything about sanogo but man we need to start buying proven quality no more projects. We're a big club looking to make and compete in the champions league not everton or swansea for crying out loud

Does seem a bit odd since Gibbs is still young, Monreal is only 27, and we have a pretty great prospect there in Ormonde-Ottewill. But, maybe Wenger seems him in a different position, further forward or in the middle. Haven't seen him play so I don't much to give in terms of insight. If he's as good a prospect as his brother than I'm all for getting him either way. He certainly has the physical genetics of Romelu.

Doesn't mean we should stop looking at young talent as well, imo. As long as it's in addition to top talent. Not looking at young talent would be terribly short-sighted. Aubemeyang looks like he'd be welcome addition here now though.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Looks like he missed a year and a half with a double leg break. Seems to have come back strong though, had 7 goals through his first 7 games this year, then put four past Stade Laval. 6'3 with pace, and technique sounds good. Scored some pretty nice overheads against England and Brazil for Frances youth team, too:

Worth a punt, I'd say.
We should get Radja Nainggolan, too. He is a midfield beast for me in FM.

Huge match against Swansea, hopefully they can stuff them. Love the Corporal too, better keep his place over Sagna.
Tuesday Club pod tomorrow, should be a good one.

I would go with the same back 4, I thought they were excellent today. Jenkinson is getting better every game he plays.

They should all keep there place. Maybe rotate Gibbs with Monreal, but I really hope Vermaelan or Sagna isn't in there.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
yeah I'd rest gibbs take no chances with him because it looked like he had a small tweak yesterday but other than that I want the same back 4 and fabianksi in net , he deserves the start after yesterdays performance.
Man we really need a solid defensive midfielder that can anchor the side , we couldnt stop any central runs yesterday , bayerns CM's we're just running right down the middle. Need to change that but getting a solid player in that position.

Not too many really. Jeorge Bird is great for Arsenal youth stuff. Arsenal-mania just for transfer gossip, news stuff, the discussion is normally pretty bad. Arseblog obvs.

oh I see , thats basically what I do but i'll start to follow Jeorge Bird now
Ian Wright @IanWright0
Just heard that Squillaci is on 65k a week. If that is true, I should still be getting paid by Arsenal.

Been there for almost 9 / 10 years...then the last few years they had this "only certain posters can post" on certain boards and that kind of turned me off.. So i look at it here and there, some good posters alot of meh ones though..
But yea good for rumours..!

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Yeah I dont even post I just started lurking on arsenal mania recently
good win for us today , important we continue to win and put the pressure on chelsea and spurs , our bad season has left us no room for error so we got to pick up nearly all the 27 points left to play for.
Nacho with his first goal for the club today was huge , and I hope gervinho has some new found confidence after his goal today as well. Good performance from the ox as well he's been pretty poor all season and I hope he ends the season well.
