He's better now, but he wouldn't be like this even if he stayed. Playing at Roma instilled some confidence in him plus I've heard that he does better there because he has a bit more time on the ball. As well I think he plays right wing at Roma instead of the left wing he did at Arsenal.

eh its mostly that Serie A is much slower than the EPL so his pace is killer. plus yeah the confidence is everything, he had absolutely none at arsenal and that would make any player look bad.

its pretty big that hes comfortable with rudi too.

His new forehead-reduction system has given him wings. The old ivory combover he had at Arsenal wasn't working.

Players are looking exhausted in the second halfs. Qatar's really going to kill the players.

Berbatov would be just waiting in the penalty box the entire game if that happened.

more goal scoring is good for the game right?

No. Defenders would have to drop back while forwards stay upfront. Thus lead longer playing distance, harder to get chances and more tired midfielders. Wouldn't be good at all.

Serge Aurier confirming his evolution with 2 assists on both Ivory Coast goals after his breakout 2013-2014 season with Toulouse, gonna be among the best right backs in the world soon. He already showed lotsa promise in previous years, but this year he was the best right back in the French league.

Will be fun to watch his all-around talent (specially offensive) when he moves to a big club this summer.

We have to worry about somehow getting 3 points against Japan.

However, a big win for Colombia over Ivory Coast would help Greece's cause for sure.

Drogba on the bench again ?
He is old, but that cannot be the excuse.
