Wow just saw the highlights of the West Ham-Fulham game. That penalty was ridiculous. WTF was he thinking?!?!?!

It's baffling that they haven't moved for Pochettino yet. I don't think he'll come in and immediately fix things, as you still have the Woodward/recruitment problem, but they will at least develop some kind of identity. I don't even know what United's best 11 or shape is under Solskjaer, it changes every week.

It's the gift which keeps on giving.

Another week, another win, and we go top for a bit. Difficult run coming up though.

West Ham collapse aside, Spurs have a new solidity to them that is almost alien to me. They're not exactly playing dominant football, but I have faith that they will grind out the win. Is this what it means to have Mourinho as manager?

If that's a penalty, you always have to give a free kick a minute before for a foul on Sterling.
Man City will be fuming.

Arsenal never had a chance. Credit to Villa they've played well this season and deserved to win. Ross Barkley looking world class O_O

Liverpool are hot favourites still.

It's all about quality of depth.

Klopp and Guardiola are complaining about the fixtures - do they realise that Leicester and Spurs are also playing in Europe every week? All the money they have and all the players connected to the club they shouldn't be crying about it already.

I'm not the most optimistic person, but I can't see Spurs mounting a serious title challenge with this group of CBs. Also, we've been scraping victories in the last 10-20 minutes and it's a matter of time before the points dry up. Spurs have a crazy high ceiling with the way Kane and Son are playing, but the new look midfield hasn't quite clicked yet. Hojbjerg looks great and Ndombele has started to show his class, but the third member of the midfield is elusive. I feel like Lo Celso needs to be starting over Sissoko, as while Moussa works his tail off he just doesn't have any of the creativity or quality we need.

Leicester are playing better football, and Liverpool & City will be thereabouts. Not entirely convinced by Chelsea yet. If there's any encouragement to take, it's that there are a lot of teams typically on the fringes that look dangerous this season and could take points from many of the big teams, levelling off the playing field somewhat.

What a season from Harry Kane... Way more than just a goals scorer.
10 assists in the premier, fantastic

City are pressing to equalize after an early goal by the Spurs but big counter for 2-0 lead by Tottenham.

If you watched Amazon Prime All or Nothing series on Tottenham, they showed clips of the City at Tottenham match last season and you could really see the intensity, all the players were running full speed most of the time.

Maybe it's the pitch-level zoomed in cameras but it just conveyed how hard and fast the players were playing compared to watching a normal live broadcast of a match, where you notice more players just jogging around.

Always love beating City. We looked like a proper Mourinho side today, with Kane looking absolutely talismanic. Not one bad performance in the whole team, absolutely chuffed.

Coote actually gave West Brom a penalty - great call btw. For some odd reason VAR told him to look at the screen himself. This is what he saw:

Read on Twitter

A crystal clear penalty. So what did he decide to do? He overruled it and gave United the ball.

Can't imagine Coote not getting suspended or relegated after this absolute bull. Same guy who didn't knew the rules in the VAR room, when Pickford fouled Van Dijk.

Yeah, I just watched this game. The officiating has always been poor in the PL, but it's straight-up dystopian at this point.

Spurs made that win look easy. This team is special and they have a special manager. Stop doubting, and start believing.
