It was a tackle in the back. It isn’t a bad call. Not sure what you are seeing.

Even with the **** coaching and circus around Cristiano, the men in maroon and green will lift the trophy

If wales are to get back into this they need major improvement in their build up play. Hoofing it up top against an in form Ream is not going to work at all he’ll win almost every header against this welsh front line.

I fully expect him to be the first guy to score in 5 different world cups but I think it is unrealistic for Portugal to lift the cup my friend.

This USA team look interesting, full of flair in comparison to the previous years. Hopefully they can keep this group together for future tournaments. They are still quite young as a collective too, interesting future ahead!

I assume we will see Kieffer Moore for Wales sooner rather than later in the second half. No point of playing long ball after long ball if you have no height up front. Should be more of a challenge to the back line

I’m quite shocked they didn’t start him to be honest, he’s a player that can at least battle with Ream in the air.

I’d have him with Wilson and Bale close to him if you are to play long balls, then they can work off him. They need to have Ramsey to get closer to their front 3 also.

If we had a semi-dependable striker it would probably be the best team we've ever had, such as it is. It's frustrating to have this crew of solid-to-good wings & midfielders and a gaping hole up top.

Can’t let the second half start before mentioning the fact that Aaron Ramsey is complete rubbish. Quite possibly the worst player in the tournament. Don’t bring up his Arsenal days, those are far in the past

I was about to mention how finished he looks. I've been surprised at how poor Wales look in general, they have typically been good in tournaments lately.

Any promising strikers in the youth team? If you have other decent wingers I’d be tempted to play Weah up front.

I'm obviously not watching the match but are you all really getting excited by a team that'd have trouble in the championship leading 1-0 against a team who'd have problems in the old 3rd division? ;-)
