Oliver has to be the most compromised referee in the league, and he's supposed to be the Premier League's "main" ref. Can't think of a more damning indictment of the FA and PGMOL than that. He's absolutely atrocious, I'm glad everyone got to see that during the Euros too.

The man who gave Buffon a red card in his last Champions League game after a horribly influential and poor last minute PK decision should've been banned for life years ago

Unless Ten Hag wins Europa. He is out. No identity for this team.

I think we host the Spurs this weekend

You think he'll make it that far into the season?

As to his identity, that's been an issue from the outset. His first season, maybe you excuse it for the players he inherited. But surely you think after the amount Manchester United have spent on transfers, you'd see one by now.

As a Liverpool fan, I'm enjoying Ten Hag's reign. Long may it continue. But if I was a Manchester United fan, I'd be fuming.

I really thought he'd get it together this year but for some reason they didn't buy any midfielders that solved their issues (receiving from the defenders/keeper, linking play, some semblance of press resistance). They bought the exact opposite profile in Ugarte and now have to play Eriksen. Very dumb stuff.
Yeah i agree with all of you. Unless he has a miracle season, he has to be gone. I do think he makes it the length unless something crazy happens.

Next coach will "fix" it right up. Just bring Ole back and we will win with scores of like 7-5.

Run a 1-1-1-1-7

Edit: Almost 2 points lost due to pure nonchalance.
These thing can't happen when you want to win the league.

Got away with one today.

Palmer with 4 goals in the first half. That free kick was perfect.

Watched the first half of Arsenal-Leicester, figured it was a wrap. But Arsenal kept generating chances to the end.

Palmer is carrying Chelsea back to relevance, what a player. Selling him will go down as one of City's all time biggest Ls.

Good match by Ipswich, were competitive throughout the whole match.

Bad result for Villa.

Ugh Dalot just stopped running on the goal. And Bruno has been terrible all season. No sharpness, no passing. Ten Hag has to go.

I almost feel bad for United fans. This is painful to watch.
It's time for 5 refs.

That was a battering to say the least. Johnson is improving massively, but I don't think Werner will ever have it in front of goal, at least not in England, he missed a couple of sitters today. Van de Ven is an animal, he's like a CB Roberto Carlos, just barrels his way through the other team while creating key chances.

Best performance of the season for Spurs, and one of the best under Postecoglou. They seem to be turning a corner and finally hitting some form, but we'll see how it goes.

Funny how pundits like Keane and Neville were blasting Arsenal for the defensive approach at City after the red card.
They said Arsenal schould've brought the game to City instead of defending.

How are these people paid millions to 'analyse objectively', while they're just supporters and can't hide their bias towards clubs.
It really blows my mind.

I've been following pro sports for almost 40 years and that was some of the dumbest discourse I've ever encountered around a game, bar none. There isn't a team on the planet that wouldn't have played the same way. It's at least justifiable.

I'll give the Premier League credit: You fan for that long, and you kind of get used to bad officiating and analysis. To the point that you don't even really pay attention to the vast majority of it. But the PL manages to piss me off on an almost weekly basis. It's a good thing the players/teams/competition are so incredible.

Stunned seeing Manchester United fans continue to back Ten Hag. What is the club waiting for? The international break? It's more likely another embarrassment comes against Porto or Villa. The job is too big for him. He's a cup manager, nothing more.

Think about the money he's been given to retool. And yet, it's year three, two wins, 7 points and a negative goal difference in 6 matches. It was obvious INEOS wanted a new manager. If they didn't why would they even interview other candidates? To make it even more comical, the incoming transfers are being made to suit Ten Hag. The next one up is likely to want his own players.

Last year, the excuse was largely injuries. Well, today, he put out his best 11, though maybe one can argue Zirkzee, and this was the result. As far as Manchester United managers, the Dutchman is now tied with Ferguson for most home Premier League losses by 3+ goals. Note Ten Hag succeeded in doing this in 41 matches compared to Fergie's 517.

Agree, could have gone equal top of the table.

Suspect more than a few players rolled through that game with their minds on Bayern mid-week. Can't do that in the Prem.

Cannot be playing Konsa at RB, with Carlos as the option to CBV. Konsa is our best CB and that's where he should play. Unfortunately with Cash injured, our only other RB options are Bogarde (who's not really a RB either) and Nedeljković, who's 18. I'm a big fan of his, and think he should be given the job, but Unai mustn't think he's ready yet.

Praying they don't sack him for at least another week. Hate facing a team off the back of a manager being sacked.
