Of course it's bad, but no reason for your reaction. Two bad teams without any realistic chance to go far in the tournament played against each other and the German team lost. Not good, but whatever.

Worth pointing out that this is the strongest side Partisan have put together in many years; and holding onto Zivkovic for another season despite BVB's interest and the youth WC triumph, was a true coup. That kid just keeps improving.

Skill-wise Muto is probably the best striker we ever had. He just needs to learn finishing. :banghead:

When are the media going to stop calling it "Der Klassiker".

How can you call a "rivalry" that's only been relevant for 4-5 years for a classic. And it's not even a rivalry. Bayern fans dont care about Dortmund and Dortmund fans care much more about Schalke.

There's not even a rich vs poor aspect like there is in the HSV-St. Pauli rivalry.

German media would make you believe that it's the German version of Barca - Real Madrid or Liverpool - Man Utd.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Just looked at lineups in the other matches, why isn't Stoker playing today? He and Darida are the two who popped the most when I've seen Hertha this year...though I'm a big fan of Stark's and think he can become an excellent 6 as well.

Wolfsburg left winger today: Marcel Schäfer.

Mr. Allofs outfoxed himself in the offseason.

bahahaha I hope someone gifs that clip of the BMG fan cheering right over Hecking after having rubbed Hecking's shoulder's sympathetically short moments before when he was sent to the stands.

Nice through ball from Stindl there for the 2-0, he's settling in nicely next to Raffael, Traore and the rest of the attackers.

Well, good way to bounce back from losing the first five by winning the next three.

Really liked the way we played today and just took it to Golfsburg, while scoring the goals at the right moment.
Also, Christensen looks like a boss out there and I hope we can find a solution with Chelsea for him like we did with Hazard.
And both Stindl and Raffael are currently running like crazy and just working well together.

BTW: I think somewhere in London Mourinho's laughing hard about being able to sell Schürrle with a profit. This dude looks like crap and can't do sh*** since joining Wolfsburg.

Hecking is nothing special without De Bruyne.

Last season you were praising him as a top manager. :rofl2:

Success was reached about individual quality, not Hecking's tactics.

Agreed; though this won't stop you from cheering him as HSV's savior when you hire him to save you from relegation.

The young Dane really looks so much more smoother and elegant with Alvaro by his side. Makes me excited to see Elvedi play with Alvaro, because he's got even more raw talent.

Xhaka-Dahoud have been huge in your turn around as well, where Dominguez has given the defense a stabilizing force to anchor themselves around, so to have those two midfielders given you possession game some stability that's let those attackers start to kick it up.

And yeah, Stindl's really settling in nicely further up the pitch, still some moments where he and the other attackers are out of sync, but how much he runs makes up for that as he's starting to develop some ECMC type karma where the ball just always bounces conveniently for him. Will be interesting to see how he does with Hazard up top when Raffael needs a rest.

Schurrle reminds me of Poldi and similar is a second-striker stuck in an era were teams play predominantly with only 1 up top. That said I still think he could take off if FC VW ever realize that they should play Kruse up top with Schurrle and Caliguri/Draxler charging in off of the wings. That would let Schurrle do the things he can do well; run his ass off and shoot when he comes inside.

Yeah, Dominguez is huge for us and I hope that he gets the appriciation he deserves from everyone, cause a lot of fans are still talking about him as a guy that isn't worth the €7 M we paid for him.

Elvedi I'm not so sure of, cause he's absolutely out of the rotation since being injured during preseason and can't even make the team these days.
Though, he's 18 and someone we can groom for the future, especially if we're in a better spot then at the beginning of the season.
I think Christensen's great and it would be good to find a solution like the one with Hazard, where Chelsea has on option on him or something like that.

I really liked Schuberts move of making Xhaka the captain(at least as long as Jantschke's out) and giving him more responsibility. It calmed him down a bit and he's not being booked within the first 30 minutes of every match.
And Dahoud, well, that kid just needs to play but also some rest every now and then. That pass towards Johnson in the first half(where the linesman somehow waved his flag) was just a beauty and he makes it look so easy at times.

Sure, not everything's working for the "strikers" but they cover so much ground that they just get into the right positions to do something.
That pass for Traorè's goal was a beauty and you can really see Stindl being way more comfortable in that more offensive role.

BTW: I really liked Schubert brining on Hazard today(he was one of the few brightspots during the start of the season) and not Hahn, who looks really lost in our technical and passing approach to the game. I could be wrong, but I think Hahn and Gladbach won't work out that well and I could see him leaving the club in the summer.

Yeah, Schürrle's a one trick pony on the left hand side cutting into the middle and shooting with his strong right foot.
Though, he's not good enough on the ball to really get by his defender and certainly isn't a lone striker, as long as you aren't fully on counter attack.
