Re: 2015-16 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
It will never be competitive as long as we have the 50+1 rule and FFP.
And the other Germans teams have a sh*t mentality. Look at Serie A. Milan, Inter, Roma etc. dont accept Juventus' dominance. They do something to break that and buy top players like Dzeko, Digne, Kondogbia, Miranda, Bacca, Luiz Adriano etc. Bundesliga clubs arent ambitious and they're fine with Bayern dominating. But tbf it's impossible for them when they dont have foreign money that can actually attract these good players. And that's all because of the stupid 50+1 rule.

Re: 2015-16 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
Did Tuchel really play Castro alongside Ilkay and Weigl with a backline that had Piscz on the left, Sokratis at RB and Sven at CB? That seems like an excessive over adjustment to Bayern, understandable in his first match against them with this new class of roster he has to work with, but still disappointing.
That Castro signing continues to be a clear blackspot on their summer dealings. With Toulemans and Geis out there in a similar price range that signing will only look worse with the passage of time. Will be curious to see how they shop now that Tuchel has gotten to see his men playing real games under his guidance.

? What's so funny?
Edit: lol, dude, you're that salty over my comment on Farca's defense in the La Liga thread?
Our defense blew today, not really that big of a deal. I always expected Bayern to win this year, and didn't expect us to improve as much as we have at all, lol.
Go get laid, sun.

If you heard that, you didn't hear it from ATLBoy, Hijinks, or myself. We all love Tuchel though, you're correct on that.
Weird comments, never realized you disliked Dortmund (or like Bayern? Idk which).

What is dortmund's defense doing on that third goal? I just saw it and it is truly shocking. 2 defenders cant handle the long ball - like long ball **** 100 meter long ball -

Re: 2015-16 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
OK, so after a horrible start of five straight losses we're now four points clear of that relegation spot(16th) and trailing 4th place Hertha by five points.
Up next, after the international break, will be Frankfurt(A), Juventus(A), Schalke(H) and Schalke(A/Cup).
Will be interesting to see if the green sweater of Schubert can help us get out of their alltogether.

Thats what I've been saying for years. No foreign owners = no team other than Bayern has ressources to buy foreign stars.
But no doubt Rummenigge and company will do everything it takes to keep the 50+1 in place.
Why is super duper HSV not trying to break the dominance, though?

Shame that we can't play Dortmund next week. Would've been the perfect time to meet them.

A foreign owner would make HSV a contender.
HSV are bigger than ManCity and PSG.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Re: 2015-16 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
bayern playing absolutely out of their minds right now and dortmunds hot start just ran out of gas. international break is truly welcome right now. atleast there wont be any talk now, regarding the championship. only goal, as was before is securing that 2nd place.
hope some of you had the chance, watched watzke on "doppelpass" today. he was truly on fire, claiming it would take somewhere around 30 years to get on that financial level of bayern, proclaiming his unwillingness to wear a lederhose and saying that his relationship with rumenigge is somewhat better than obamas with putin!
while he is entertaining, he is absolutely realistic about dortmunds possibilities and future.
