Enough with the excuses already.

You're the top team in the world. If you didn't go out and buy a couple of extra players during the summer when you knew that you'd be in the Prem, League cup, Champions league, world club cup etc... that's you're own fault. You're playing a team that was in the championship last season and has 2 good players and perhaps a third of your league points this season.

Lol. You kidding?

This is all due to hopeless planning. Two games, 6000 kilometers apart, in the span of 20 hours. Either choose the world cup or carabao cup or lose them both. The world cup are of much higher interest due to 1. only trophy we've never won, 2. economics and 3. exposure.

Excuses? Nah, the decision to place the game on this date shows how much of a waste the league cup is. If Klopp rated this cup the slighest, he would've let some of the first team players stay in England. This is, by a wide margin, the least important cup of the season.

This is a chance for the young players. If we lose, who the fuc* cares. The EFL knew it would be this squad, and it were the best solution for us, Liverpool, aswell - since the EFL didn't want to move the semifinals a week.

Some worthless EFL Cup? Nah. We've got bigger priorities at the moment.

Cool news! I would have liked a mid-fielder or defender first...but it's new blood, and I hope he rocks. Don't know much about the guy, but Klopp's been good at signing good players so far, so I look forward to Minamino making a genius out of Klopp again.

I just hope this doesn't create a rift with the other forwards. Minamino will have to be pretty good indeed, if he wants to see too much EPL time. Having an option for some of these other tournaments is awesome though.

Damn...looks like we play a game Saturday (21st) against Flamengo for the Super-Duper Cuppiest-Cuppy-Cup...or whatever the stupid thing is called. Jeez man! Who cares about all this BS? We got a HUGE match on Thurs.

It's a good signing. He had a goal & an assist at Anfield. He's a good creator. Good with the ball. Can play upfront & as a #10. He'll fit right in. He had a buyout clause so he only cost 7 million. Which is a ridiculous bargain.

Yeah....7mil is awesome. It would be great to find one of those 'steals'....but if he doesn't work out, we can sweep 7mil under the rug. It won't play much into our summer signings.

don't worry, Leicester played Everton in midweek - probably as difficult a match as your world club match in midweek - and we play Man city away on Saturday - certainly a bigger game than Flamengo, before we play you. It was a strange time for this competition though wasn't it? And strange that Klopp took so many first team fringe players on the trip.

He f'd his ankle pretty good. Could be nothing serious. He's had a bad spell with injuries lately yeah.

Ehh? I know you're prob thinking 'bout the knee injury - but lately, he hasn't been injured. This is his first injury since a hamstring in march.
