Player has agreed terms with Chelsea but Dortmund holding out for a bigger payday.

It's almost August. Is that Haaland deal getting done?

Most rumours are BS and just clickbait or media selling rubbish.

I think we'll know by the first week of august. Dortmund continuing to not completely shut the door make me wonder.

Because there was a report that we proposed 100M to Juventus for Chiesa after the Euro's and Fab shut it down immediately saying he wasn't for sale for any price.

The updates now say Chelsea are only interested in making a bid if they know it'll be accepted. I don't expect it to go down, but you never know.

CFC finally broke into market though for Jules Kounde, that's extremely exciting as a long term Azpilicueta replacement. And he fits the age timeline with Havertz/James/Mount/Gilmour/Pulisic/Hudson-Odoi/Christensen/Chilwell.

What's next on tap.

Some more deadwood sold hopefully (Tammy included).

A midfielder and striker are on the way.

As long as it isn't Lukaku or Rice or i'm thrilled.

Agreed!

The guys at the False9 did a ranking of media sources which is helpful. It seems about right to me.

No excuses for Chelsea not to win the league (and the FA Cup) this season.

Missed opportunity not playing Homecoming by Kanye. I wonder how Big Rom will adapt though. We don't have a true creator on our roster in the mold of a Sancho/KDB/Bernardo/Felix etc who he can form a partnership with.

Ziyech might be the closest thing, but after him Kai is more of an all around forward. Mount is a pace/energy/cross merchant. Timo's technical ability is really poor. Hudson-Odoi has no confidence in his game and has been turned into a wingback. Pulisic is beyond bipolar, but I've never seen him play a through ball before. He just wants to dribble into feet and be the worst possible version of Eden Hazard the prem has ever seen.

If Kaku gets 20 NPG's this year for Chelsea either somebody took a leap or he's just really 'that guy'.

Ziyech looks like he will be out for a long time. Mount is definitely the most creative of the bunch but I'm guessing they will just have Werner play a similar role to Lautaro at Inter. Hudson-Odoi is an interesting one. I think he's capable, but he should be a left winger that comes inside to create, not a right wingback.

This is huge for a gaffer that employs Robbo.

And he didn't lie. Gilmour is special.

Solid win. Chalobah has been a revelation. Still go and get Kounde though. Tchouameni too. Azpi and Zouma won't be here forever. And we had no backup midfielder on the bench.

Chalobah was a good player 3 seasons ago - Chelsea just has too many expensive players for him to play or even stay at the club.

Name of the game at this club unfortunately. We sold a tonne more academy products this summer. A lot of them know the path to the first team isn't the most optimal here at Chelsea. Especially with the wealthy Russian benefactor who'll back huge signings ever summer.

Do Mount and James breakthrough in 2019 without the transfer ban and Frank Lampard's appointment? Probably not. I'm just happy whenever youngsters get to show there class here. Chalobah was awesome in the Super Cup win and then again here against Palace to kick off the season. I think Tuchel likes him, he has great size and can cover in the midfield and at the back. I hope he's around for a long time.

Signing Kounde would just be greedy. We do not need another CB at this club.
