Re: 2015-16 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
Schmidt is a freaking moron. Overadjusting the lineup to the opponent, creativity and flow of offense is completely lost and the defense sucks a**.
I hope they find a new guy next offseason at latest. Dude is incompetent.

The defence is incredible. Djourou is a beast and Adler is back to the form he had during his Vizekusen days. Should be in the Euro 2016 squad in my opinion.
Dude played like two good matches in a row and you already want to bring him back to the NT? LMAO.
And Djourou is a beast just two games after he got embarrassed by Ibisevic and Kalou.

Lewis Holtby should be our starting GK and 9; and Lassogga our new LB.

I know you say a lot of silly things Massi, but I don't remember you ever hyping Holtby.

Hertha are doing really well. If Preetz can manage another offseason like the last one Hertha might really stabilize themselves in the EL spots again.
Should probably look for an upgrade over Ibisevic and a couple more talented youngsters like Stark and Weiser next year.

Dardai is doing a great job so far, I almost feel bad for doubting him before the season. Still, let's not forget that we're only 10 games into the season and that there are still a lot of things to improve. The win against Ingolstadt yesterday is a good example: solid win, good defense, some good moments on offense. But we gave them the chance to come back into the game and that shouldn't happen against a team that really isn't good at all (or at least they weren't yesterday). We had similar games against Werder or Augsburg. The attitude needs to change in games like this, we need to be more confident. If Dardai can keep up the good work I think we can have a very good year, but we need to be careful and improve step by step before talking about bigger goals in the future.
When it comes to Preetz, he did a goob job last summer. But I'm still not sure if he can keep this up long-term. We'll see!

Re: 2015-16 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
OK, five in a row and we're back in the hunt for those international spots.
Was a bit lucky today but in the end, we did enough to win.
Though, we also paid the price with Geis killing off Hahn and him being out for quite some time, most likely.

I guess I'm now going to start scouting wingers on transfermarkt, cause we hardly have any left and it seems like Eberl will need to do something new and buy someone during the winter transfer window for the first time in many years.
BTW: Those Schalke fans are scum. As Hahn was carried of the pitch they were singing "Auf Wiedersehen", which pretty much means na na na na, hey hey, goodbye....

Put a disclaimer on that video. Horrible horrible tackle.

I didn't think Geis meant that to be so malicious; but his reaction was disgusting. The 5 game suspension is fully warranted.

And there've been reports before, that Eberl and Gisdol know each other etc.

Well the good thing about it is that he's banned for both league and cup games.
We'll play at bad-beer-gym on Wednesday and it wouldn't have been a good idea to have him play in that game.

I'd have given him a ten game ban just for protesting against the red card afterwards.

Haha, Huub Stevens. Oh Mann. So ein Drecksverein.
This is a thing that goes unnnoticed when people talk about all the great things about Bundesliga. It's always the same old c*nts that are appointed. Dont German clubs have contacts around the world? I am sure there are many coaches who would like to manage in Germany. But it always ends up being the Dinosauars getting the jobs: Stevens, Frontzeck, Veh, Slomka etc.

Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Again you have no clue what you are talking about.
It's a perfect move for Hoffenheim. He will get them out of relegation zone just as Stuttgart last year and next year someone younger with a long-term perspective takes over.
Hate to say it but it's a smart move from Hoffenheim. I hoped they would keep horrible Gisdol at the line until winter break.

You can see his point though when you look at how much experience and how big of names that the likes of Klopp, Favre, Tuchel, Streich, Schubert, Stöger, Weinzerl, Breitenreiter, Nagelsman, Skrypnyk, Dardai; or even Gisdol himself, Luhukay, Keller, Hyypia&Lewandowski, Schmidt (Roger or Martin), Korkut, Zorniger, Stanislawski; had when given the reigns of first league clubs over the past few years...

I want Hertha to win for you Nate; but FSV knocked BFC out of this comp, so I've gotta root for them to hold on to this.

They already have a guy they want to take over but they're scared to be relegated and took the fallback plan of Stuttgart away, appointing Stevens as their coach.
Next season a young guy called Julian Nagelsmann will be appointed as the new manager, as they stated during the press conference.
Nagelsmann is 28 years of age, currently managing their under 19 squad and will become the youngest manager in Bundesliga history, as soon as he takes over.
BTW: Gladbach will be without seven players in tomorrows game at Schalke and that includes Raffael.
I like it, cause we need to start rotating players, at least as much as the remaining squad allows it.

Of course we manage to get thrown out by a crappy team again in 2nd Cup round.
This team just has no heart an soul. A bunch of Söldner it is.

So many bad managers in that list.
Bundesliga is by far the league of the big 4 that have the worst set of managers.
There are only 4 or 5 good managers. Guardiola, Tuchel, Schmidt, Labbadia and Rangnick if we count Zweite as well.
Compare that to La Liga, Serie A and Premier League.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.
