We loved Suarez at Ajax but I hated what he did on the pitch from time to time. He lets his team down.
First time he bit someone was Bakkal against PSV resulting in a 7 game suspension.

There's no doubt about his game, he's one of the best there is. But other than that he's just loco.

Like I have said, we already know that he is crazy, and we still love him ... By the way, here is a take from a sports psychologist who has predicted after the Ivanovic incident that Suarez will bite again ...

There are actually people who defend Suarez? Wtf?

And no, it's not the same as a bad tackle because biting and fouling are both against the laws of football. There is no football law against biting people. Guess why? Because whoever wrote up the laws would have never thought there would be someone as batsh*t freaking mental as to actually go and bite another human being on a football pitch. On three occasions. Tackling is part of the game. It's a contact sport, you have to expect to be tackled and accept the risk of being injured. I have to accept the risk when I play a game in the park on a Saturday and so will any professional player who will also get compensated heavily for their troubles. Nobody expects to be bitten by another human being. It's not a socially acceptable behavior on or off the pitch.

FWIW I don't buy the 'psychological issue' angle either. The cheating prick does it to provoke a reaction from his opponent so he could play the victim and get someone sent off in the process.

I am glad to hear that you love dogs and honestly me too. But I don't what Suarez is tbh. Only thing i know is he is not a human. He is psychopat animal like pitbulls or something.

Delusional? You think that LFC should sell the POY in the Premier League, with most goals and assists in the league this season? Nah, you won't watch that movie any time soon ... We are back, and we are here to stay.

The reactions from Uruguay are epic. How delusional can you be?

I hope they ban Suarez from this and the next WC. That would make it very likely we would never have to see him in a WC again.

Psychopat? Is that a crazy nationalist person or something?

Makes sense to me why LFC supporters would want him there but he will be gone by the start of the season if Barca really wants him. Don't be delusional Goran

i love this x person did something wrong so suarez should avoid punishment logic. we are very close to a post that says "hitler killed jews therefore suarez is innocent"

Or that because he is a great player and there are a lot of patriot fans who are indirect victims because a good player is gone, that Aaron Hernandez should be set free.

Edit: Super extreme example with AH, but as a SF 49ers fan, one of our best players could be facing a serious suspension after multiple run ins with the law. He's one of the best pass rushers in the NFL but I think if got suspended half a season I'd say it'd be warranted. I don't think athletes should be sent a message that because they are better at a game than 99.9% of the world's population that it gives them the right to behave outside the boundaries of safe, normal and often legal behavior. They never asked to be moral role models but often times they the slap on the wrist punishments they get perpetuates problems rather than helps them. Suarez did it on the biggest stage in the world after he had been punished with hefty suspensions twice before. Any sort of lifetime ban would be too harsh as he's not a criminal but I think suspending him for this WC is fair and deliberate more on any future punishment later.
Jarret Jack: “I brought one of my best suits. But looking down at this jersey, it’s just a sense of pride I don’t think I’ve ever felt as a professional. … Nothing in my closet is better than what I have on now."

Actually, what happened yesterday works in our favor ... After the Neymar fiasco, Barca are very cautious about their public image, so there is very little chance of them going after Suarez ...

Why should he avoid punishment? Personally, I am hoping that he will be banned from international football for the maximum penalty of 24 months ...

I also love the "we know everyone does worse things on a football match, but who cares, i only want Suárez head for the worst penalty possible!"

Seriously, the inconsistent ones are you pro-ban. Suárez should receive his punishment, but banning him doesn't punish him at a personal level at all. It punishes the WC and that's as clear as a cup of water.

Two of my best friends are Liverpool fans and continue to say stuff like this to me. I really think you're being delusional and that he will be gone soon but I guess neither of us really know.

If he's still on Liverpool when the season starts, kudos to you, if not, hate to say I told you so.

It is common sense, really ... The only way that FSG would sell Suarez is if some club triggers his $135 million release clause, and in this situation no club would even think about it ...

worse, better or same, any violent act needs to be punished, doesnt get any more consistent than that. and no WC doesn't get punished, WC is better when players don't bite each other off.
