turkish tv announcer was practically begging them to stop protesting, pathetic.

Do you think he deserves it during the match? If they're unhappy make it clear off the pitch but whilst your players are playing for your country give them all the support you can.

they have been treated like freakin kings after finishing third behind iceland in qualification even though they didnt achieve anything, i guess it is only fair that they are getting sh*t on after few games, sports fans are fickle bunch. no player should be singled out though, everybody utter ****.

Turkey played some of the most uninspiring football that I've seen thus far.

That last goal by Spain was a thing of beauty (even though an offside should have been called)--23 touches in 48 seconds.

Good show

I am so happy that Turan got what he deserved. I am glad that we started to boo him and all turkish fans followed us.

Good ****.

Because he is not delivering nothing. He acts like he is a superstar. He doesnt take responsibility. He doesnt play with his heart. He is not the same Arda that was in 2008. He thinks he is superior than others including opponent players. Modric who won CL this year plays his heart out, busting his ass. Iniesta who won 26 trophies in his career still leading his team, being th and best leader. Arda? Nothing.

So let me get this straight, Croatian fans start throwing flares onto the pitch at players of their OWN team then immediately start a fight in the stands amongst THEMSELVES in the 85th minute, when their team is WINNING 2-1 and dominated for a good 75-80 minutes??

lol Feel bad for the squad, they deserved the win, they were the better side, and showed class, but the fan base deserved losing the 2 points. That was immediate karma if I've ever seen it.

It's the same guys who put the swastika on their own stadium in Split. They hate the federation and the guy who de facto runs it, the president of Dinamo Zagreb.

It's really sad though.

England has the same problem where only "BIG" team players tend to get picked - even if they haven't played all season or perhaps 6 times in their lives but the rest of us "Small" team fans don't bomb the team.

Of course yes. I am a fan. I came here to support. I did my job. They did not. Nothing wrong with that.

If you don't mind me asking - How much do you think this Euros will cost you in travelling, eating, sleeping and watching the games?

It's more than just team management. There's also corruption, tax evasion, politics, etc etc. The man was arrested a number of times but they're never able to prove anything.

Take a week off and go to the beaches. Doesn't matter whether you go to Atlantic or Mediterranean sea. Both are nice. Been there literally every summer in my childhood.
Weather will be better next week, too. That's definitely better value for your $s than watching Turkey play football.
