Waited a day to write anything to cool off. But what the **** are the refs, assistants and VAR up to? The refs seem content on trying to kill VAR this season, they've changed their use of it and now, most of the time, simply ignore it and go with the refs decision or use it to justify ludicrous decisions.

Yesterday's penalty was a travesty of justice. Here is the clear image of Maupay using two hands to haul Vestergaard down just before the ball hit his hand. That is a foul in anyone's book and it says one of 3 things:

1. The lino and refs are corrupt and cheating
2. The refs want to scupper VAR
3. The refs should not be involved in football because they are incompetent.

Image

This was compounded by what seemed to be poor reffing where the calls were inconsistent for either team. then in the second half Leicester scored twice. Both times VAR ruled offside - now I'm not questioning that Barnes was in an offside position on both occasions but he wasn't involved in the goal or the play and therefore he could only be ruled offside if he was interfering with the goalkeeper. He wasn't for either although I could see a reason at least for trying to claim he was for the first goal - Ademola's but never in a hundered years for the second Wilf's

Image

He's behind the goalkeeper and not in his line of sight at all.
Serious questions need to be asked and answered but they won't be. It was only Brighton V Leicester and could be the difference between European football next season and not.

We're not some invincible squad. Liverpool are strong this year, although that midfield depth is concerning after these injuries.

United are going to pick up a tonne of points on sheer talent level alone. City are City.

We play City on Sunday though so that should be a major litmus test of how these teams stack up.

I didn't realize City v. Chelsea is this weekend. That's exciting. C'mon draw (not tie :P)!

Chelsea Man city boring first half. A team that has forgotten how to shoot against a team who has forgotten how to attack.

Man Utd is going to get our title of 'banter club'.

Kane should have been sold, he's completely downed tools.

Appallingly bad, don't think Nuno will last very long with performances like this.

Nuno's a good coach but Kane has poisoned the team.

Arsenal are back ?

Will Leicester, Arsenal and Tottenham all miss out on top 7?

I just think Spurs were that bad. Shocking defending made Arsenal look like title contenders. Regardless, Kroenke out.
