Think about the money he's been given to retool. And yet, it's year three, two wins, 7 points and a negative goal difference in 6 matches. It was obvious INEOS wanted a new manager. If they didn't why would they even interview other candidates? To make it even more comical, the incoming transfers are begin made to suit Ten Hag. The next one up is likely to want his own players.

Last year, the excuse was largely injuries. Well, today, he put out his best 11, though maybe one can argue Zirkzee, and this was the result. As far as Manchester United managers, the Dutchman is now tied with Ferguson for most home Premier League losses by 3+ goals. Note Ten Hag succeeded in doing this in 41 matches compared to Fergie's 517.

Praying they don't sack him for at least another week. Hate facing a team off the back of a manager being sacked.

They won't if they do it'll be a decision made over the next international break. Thats my prediction
My vote has always been November. Gives him another month. If he doesnt make progress. Ruud will coach the rest of the year.

lol so they rescinded Fernandes red card and 3 game ban. What does it tell about VAR room competency when they clearly see slow motion of the slip and see it is no serious foul play and still have no audacity to correct ref who gave wrong red card? That ref needs to be banned from VAR duties for a year at least and show in the future that he is up to standards to be allowed back in.

It's farcical. It continues to show how useless those in the VAR booth are. What's the point if clubs can appeal -- reviewing the review.

Pretty bad collapse by Spurs.

Up 2-0 at half and they've conceded 3 goals already with 20 minutes left.

The 1 downside of starting 8 forwards.
It's time for 5 refs.

I'm certain Expressions Oozing is loving this...

All you can say is that 10-game unbeaten run to start last season seems a lifetime ago.

Been "Spursy" since.

Brendan Johnson has scored in 6 consecutive matches.

Supposedly this time overlaps a lot with time being off social media, where he was subject to a lot of abuse before his current scoring run.

So only Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton provided statements in favour of Man City for the case of the associated party transactions.
No surprises there.

Alisson is expected to be sidelined until late November with a hamstring injury.

May miss matches vs. Arsenal and City in the PL and Real Madrid and Leverkeusen in the
UCL.

What happened with Southampton-LC?

Southhampton was up 2-0 and then conceded 3 goals in the second half and injury time, the winner in the 98th or 99th minute?

Red card must have helped as LC scored twice after the 73rd minuted red card.

Lot of other red cards today.

Arsenal going to have to work to get a point at Bournemouth with ten men for the second half.

Great weekend so far, would like to see Liverpool dick down Chelsea tomorrow now, but I suspect it'll probably be a close game given the good form of both teams.

Nobody can say Arsenal is getting favorable officiating.

If anything, they've dropped points because officiating has punished them, whether or not the individual decisions were correct or not.

It was a close game as expected, edged 2-1 by Liverpool, with plenty of penalty incidents and controversy. Neither team was especially convincing, but another win on the board for Slot. Great start to his Liverpool tenure.

Apparently the ending to Wolves vs. City was very controversial, but I didn't catch it.

Outside of Jackson’s goal, Chelsea never really threatened. And once they did, Liverpool’s intensity went up to go ahead shortly after.

One thing I’ve been glad to see is Slot bring in defensive stability. The past few years, I never felt as if a lead was safe.

Thought Southampton were very unlucky not to get at least a point in that game.

City's last goal was a header from a corner and Silva was standing in front of goalie when the kick was taken. He was NOT in his way when the ball was headed. Goal was disallowed and then overruled and allowed with ref checking VAR.
Seen them go either way, and I'm sure if Villa lost a game like that, I'd be pissed, but thought it was a goal myself.

Tosin not sent off for the same foul as Saliba, but hey Arsenal can't complain?

That's three red cards for things other teams don't get the same punishment for.
Also, Howard Webb in attendance with an earpiece and mic...
