That's not an indictment on Tottenham. There's many Premier League teams that would like to qualify for the CL season-in-season-out. I'm sure Liverpool would be grateful to make the CL again, too, after 2014's failure. Times change. United have missed the CL recently, Chelsea will most likely miss it this season and City were irrelevant until 2008 and have always laid eggs in Europe.

That's what I am saying. For Liverpool, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Everton fans would love their teams to qualify for CL two decades in a row. That would be magnificent accomplishment for them. However, fans who support Manchester City, United and Chelsea, it is not that impressive. It is all about expectations. Obviously to qualify for CL would be magnificent outcome for most of the teams in EPL.

My Dad just described Matic as the "Gareth Barry of Chelsea"

Fair analysis

Man, could Chelsea be any more pedestrian? Watford are a decent side but Chelsea have offered nothing in this match.

edit: Well, I kinda jinxed it? Chelsea have been better in the last 15 mins, some great saves by Gomes to keep them out

Leicester looking solid. Defending quite aggressively though, they need to be careful not to give away any reckless free kicks or a PK.

Can't blame City: I guess they just didn't spend enough money in recent years to build a quality team.

Well, offensive minded teams like City really suit Leicester and their counter attacking style.

Spurs and Gooners need to win today, if they really want to keep up with that.

BTW: Vardy nearly with the 4th goal... :o

I still can't believe a team featuring Fuchs, Okazaki and Huth in the starting lineup will comfortably lead the league, though.

Yeah, we have Watford at home too, who are a decent, disciplined side, so it won't be easy.

I wonder if the City players have their mind in the summer already, with Pep coming in.
