Let's see what he can do in a better team than Newcastle. You saw for France that he's actually alright when he has good players around him.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

GOod buy, but very redudant to the Belgian imo. I don't know how good your french signing is though, however, he is a good signing in the sense that he is very versatile and would fit with Poch high press style.

This could open up offers for Ericksen leaving and/or Son.

What an odd way to spell Isco.

Isco was not leaving Real this window unless it was a colossal offer, I think.

I really hope we can sign him in the future, but I get a feeling he'll work his way to the top of Real's pecking order. Special player.

I think this is a risky boom/bust type of buy. He doesn't seem like a Poch player at all, but apparently he really wanted him. I think the odds he comes good are just as good as the odds he gets sold him in the summer.

valuation of luiz perplexes me, both when he left and came back to chelsea. he has never been a elite player and prone to dumb mistakes, and now he is pushing 30. at least arsenal overpaid for a young mediocre defender.

I'm actually really pleased about this transfer, now that we have Kante to back up Luiz should he commit an error and the fact that Luiz is great with the ball in his feet and is a tremendous passer, this will help us be able to build more at the back. If he can limit his mistakes he can be our version of Bonucci. I think this will be better than his first spell at the club.

Also don't mind the fact that he's 29, he was always due for the next armband before and this allows Chelsea to still have a huge need to keep Christensen for next year and beyond.

Have you guys seen Cahill and Terry.

Don't let the record fool you, Kante is literally carrying the team defensively while Hazard is a one man wrecking crew going forward. Money they lost last season on their crap record and not qualifying to CLs already hurt their pocketbook this season.

Chelsea had a great summer. Signed Bats and Kante and was able to Keep Diego Costa/Begovic.

David Luiz is just as terrible defender, but for some reason people are so high on him, really do not get it.

Rumours of Oscar to Shanghai SIPG for around £60m.

Unbelivable money being spent by the Chinese super league on fringe stars. I hope they're investing some of that wealth into developing local players too.

Imagine the players Chelsea could sign with that money. The rich get richer!

That's true. Paulinho went for £10m and he's basically Sunday league level.

I thought oscar was turning it around. I think he still has enough to be a serie A player or ligue 1
