Falcao scores 2 more as Colombia dominates Paraguay. I really like this team. I am starting to think that we can make a nice run in the WC if we get the right draw

Cuba only brought 16 players to Canada and only 11 players are at the stadium. FIFA are having an emergency meeting about it. They have no subs on the bench.

there is no way the field in the USA-Antigua match is FIFA regulation size. Its so narrow.

@ussoccer: Field dimensions chosen by Antigua for #USAvATG are 110x70, which makes for a tighter space

Anyone with DirectTV. You are better off getting the Spanish BEin channel than the English one

All you can ask for at the beginning of the round is to have a chance in your last game. We have that and only need to tie Honduras to move onto the next round. It sucks that we will be missing some very important players but we are never going to qualify if we can not draw get a draw in Honduras one time.

Good game from Canada, we finally put a little bit of offense together after some pretty lackluster performances.

It's getting hard not to look past the next game. I hope the players can keep their emotions in check and get a win in Honduras. Just being in the next round is an accomplishment for this country, I hope badly they make it.

The game being moved up to 4PM might really hurt.

I'm getting nervous. I don't want this run to end. We deserve to make the Hex.

weve only had one standout game, a home win over panama. we played well in every game other than the one in panama, hell we dominated play much of the time -- but jesus youve got to be able to finish at some point.

as longtime canada soccer fans, id like to advise you guys that bet365 has 1.75 odds (i realize im weird for preferring decimal odds) on a honduras win, asian handicap -.5,-1 at 2.00 and honduras -1 at an incredible 3.10. just in case you want to ease that inevitable 2-0 loss.

(and if winning on money on our own lack of offense is unseemly, theyve got panama at -1 for 2.00 against a neutered cuba)

sorry if thats against forum rules, i dont work for them or anything i just need to dampen the depression thats sure to come in ~23 hours

I am so excited and nervous about this game. I have just been following Canadian soccer for a couple of years now. Have minimal knowledge, but have been attending every game. Everybody has been saying this is the biggest game Canada has ever played. It is too bad that they couldn't get a goal against Honduras at BMO, they totally dominated the entire game.

Julian de Guzman said that if Canada qualifies for the next round he is certain that his brother Jonathan will commit to the Canadian team. He also mentioned that Junior Hoilett would most likely jump on board too.
