2015

Post#1802 » by ATL Boy » Sun Feb 14, 2016 3:01 pm

Arsenal made this title race a lot more exciting, it's a bit more refreshing after the anti-climactic Chelsea championship last year.

I'm still picking Leicester to win the league, and not because of the underdog angle. They enter maybe the easiest part of their schedule in these next eight or so games.

No_20 wrote:Btw I thought Ranieri bottled it today. Why take Mahrez and Okazaki off and just sit back and let Arsenal play. Mourinho did it once with Inter against Barcelona and Chelsea did it against Barcelona but it's not how you play with a man less.

Yeah I didn't like the Mahrez substitution. When you're pegged back, you need someone with that kind of skill and technique as an outlet.

Arsenal could have easily scored a lot more as well, if they weren't so futile in front of goal today. Ozil regressed to his old self, Ramsey missed everything, Sanchez and Giroud weren't firing. I was still gutted they won, though.

Atkinson had a dreadful performance overall.

This Villa team might be one of the worst I've seen in the PL era.

Imagine paying the most expensive tickets in the world and not expecting to have a chance in a Round of 16 tie.

According to your fans you have the best GK in the world, the best CB in the world, the best DM in the world, the best AM in the world and the best player in the whole league. You should have a chance then.

Easy mate, banter is all well and good but there's no need to antagonise, especially when he isn't even trying to provoke you.

**** sake it's squeaky bum time over here

Hate playing City away especially with an in-form Aguero, and a lot of their starters are back. They haven't lost this season with Kompany in the starting XI.

Thought we played quite well so far. Did well to dictate the game in their backyard, but need to create more chances.

Dier deservedly booked, but City should have a few players in the book too.

Harsh, harsh on Sterling. Ref has been poor again.

Still, 1-0 GET IN HARRY
