Wonderful news.

Felix will inject some much needed creativity and ball retention up front. We've been lacking attackers that can play and create from between the lines since Hazard/Mata/Oscar - and this is one addition closer to Mason Mount being jettisoned to Everton or West Ham.

Nkunku / Sterling/ Werner/ Mount / Leao are all P&P merchants.

Felix is prime Potter-ball, shades of the interchangeable fluidity with technicians like Mitoma/March/Trossard/MacAllister.

Badiashile is very interesting. Koulibaly has been a fraud disaster. BB has been around forever playing big minutes for Monaco and he's only 21. Can be rash at times but he's a 6'4 tower and can laser line breakers across the field. If Potter wants him, let him have him. He likes his tall CB's having played with Webster and Dunk at Brighton.

I'm sure it seems like we've spent a fortune on CB's in the recent windows, but it's still a cause for concern with Silva's age. Fofana can't stay on the field and KK not being very good. After Colwill's return from loan on Brighton, we'd only really need RWB cover for Reece, considering Azpilicueta is beyond finished - and RJ has picked up injuries in consecutive seasons. Malo Gusto please.

Mount is Chelsea's best mid for combination play with the fullbacks and wingers. In that Madrid 2nd leg last year he was the key player setting up both Alonso and James with direct goalscoring chances. It's probably better to keep him and dump Jorginho at this point, especially after pricing in his youth and homegrown status.

Chelsea doesn't need much more creativity - it needs many more goals. Felix's peak goalscoring season was 2018 at Benfica (18). Otherwise his seasonal output has been <10 goals across all competitions. Maybe Simeone has driven the suppression of his goalscoring, or maybe Felix isn't a striker.

Which la liga clubs do you think Jorginho, Kante, and Thiago Silva free transfer to?

Is La Liga the new MLS? Where old prem stars go to die.

Courtouis, hazard, Christensen, rudiger, azpi, alonso. Just a few gaps left till there's a full Chelsea starting 11.

I'm guessing it's to win continental titles more than once every 9 years. Or perhaps it's truly as the players say - because daddy bought them kits when they were pre-teens. They know they've finally made it when they line up for a Europa league ko match sporting the hallowed Spotify crest.

Koulibaly is NOT a prem player. Chalobah, Koulibaly and old man in a 3 at the back.

considering how much they paid off Tuchel and then Brighton for his services it would seem daft to fire him so quickly, but apparently Poch is interested, so you never know.

I'd happily have Potter over Rodgers.

They would be much better off with Tuchel right now.

Most of Chelsea's signings under Boehly have been overpriced and old busts so far. Sterling and Cucurella are the exceptions which might have improved the squad. On the other extreme buys like Aubemyang are atrocious. It's amazing how much a club which won the CL could decline in 18 months.

I don't think Boehly would have been able to sign Tuchel on the open market in the first place. I especially don't see a fast recovery for the club in a sporting sense, and the fired people like Marina & Cech have been vindicated. Boehly will almost certainly grow it commercially though.

Koulibaly (like soumaré at Leicester) is simply too slow of thought. He is a skilled player but too often doesn't react fast enough. Wish tuchel would come to Leicester but we're not big enough for him.

Mac Allister would have been a better transfer for Chelsea on all logistical fronts. Arsenal are poaching a lot of good players at discount within the league this season.

I have no clue about how he's performed since moving to Chelsea, but fans are going to have to be patient with Enzo. Due to the overlapping Argentine and European calendars, he hasn't had any time off at all since late 2021. I'm expecting a significant drop in form and conditioning as the season boils down. This is actually one of the main reasons why I think he shouldn't have risked a transfer move mid-season, particularly to a place where the media is absolutely unforgiving.

Once he gets a full off-season of rest and recovery... fellas... just enjoy. He's a unique talent.

He appears to care more about Chelsea's transfer business than performance on the pitch, at least those are the times when he posts.

I'm sure he'll pop back up nearing the summer.
