To be fair, I don't think anybody said that Ronaldo isn't a good player. There was also a lot of evidence for discontent in Madrid, mostly stemming from Ronaldo's behaviour on-pitch and detrimental comments off it. But, he has responded like any great player should: On the pitch. Good for him, hope he keeps scoring bags of goals for the foreseeable future.

Then you missed a lot of comments on here buddy. He is a world class player. One of the Top 2 players in the world. Proven scorer in the top 2 leagues in the world unlike some others who have been playing with world class players for years and years and never played out of the same league and same team.

That weaker league boasted the CL finalist, whereas the next best team out of the EPL is...

These may be uncharted waters for Citeh, but that doesn't make this any more reminiscent of Heynkes' final season unless you've forgotten about Jupp's final season.

That's one way of going about making a bad point.

When was the last time you knocked out a big team in the CL? Real Madrid the season you reached the final?

You've made the semis finals 2 times since you were founded in 1886.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals against German clubs in the UCL than he has any other nation. (17 goals.)

Cristiano Ronaldo(17) surpasses Lionel Messi(15) as the player with most goals against German teams in Champions League history.

He literally owns the country, but still doesnt get the credit he deserves in Germany. Many Germans think he is just this arrogant, selfish prettyboy with great hair and six pack and that he isnt an all time great. Shame.

We beat Juve the following round that year. Milan with that cesc goal I think www our last big CL tie win and even then that was early. Our European record is atrocious though

Tonight will be very interesting, Bayern hasn't been really convincing, but they'll probably turn it up a notch to grab that one away goal and end it as soon as possible.

As for Barcelona - Atletico, I am rooting for Barcelona (admiration for Messi), but this tie is reaaaallly difficult to predict.
The Vicente Calderon is a fortress and Barcelona has looked very vulnerable as of late. (talk about timing your form...)

If Atletico start as well as they did last week, Barcelona might as well be out. I do believe we haven't seen the good old Barcelona for a couple of weeks now, the biggest factor for me is how fast they move the ball. 70% possession is of no use if you don't keep the ball moving at a quick pace, keeping the defense on their heels at all times. Especially against a club like Atletico who has conceded like 17 goals all season in La Liga...

tl;dr

Barcelona need to keep their passing pace up.

Amazing skill on that 3rd goal
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

I didn't watch the PSG Man City game but I had to laugh this morning. The French have been going on all year about how great PSG are and they lost to the 4th best team in England.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

They played really bad, I think the game was over after they had to take Motta out.

I think with Verratti/Matuidi/Motta or at least a combination of two of them would have done wonders to PSG's game.

They looked flat out lost there.
