The mob needs an enemy. First it was Wolfsburg, then it was Hoffenheim and now it's Red Bull.

If they were at least consistent and would insult all Retortenvereine but only booing the newest one isn't exactly a proof of their intelligence. Probably half of these idiots cheered for Vettel in a Red Bull car, too.

Wolfsburg, Leverkusen, Hoffenheim are at least financed by proud German companies. Not an overrated energy drink from Austria.

Dont think football and F1 can be compared. And Red Bull is maybe the reason why Vettel isnt as popular Schumacher was despite similar dominance.

Matteschitz is an incredible business man. Whatever he does turns out gold.

Whether its the sh#t he calls an energy drink, formula 1, Salzburg and all the other marketing machines like cliff jumping stratosphere, ice hockey, etc.

It's hilarious though that Salzburg havent qualified for the CL after a decade with Red Bull. They even made it easier for teams from smaller leagues to qualify.

Not so sure.
They seem to have invested all their money on that Cup Semifinal for a new pitch.
I mean, during that semifinal it even looked like one and I doubt it got that much better within three weeks after our game there.

Some transfer news:
Oliver Sorg from Freiburg to Hannover
Dominique Heintz from Kaiserslautern to Cologne
Daniel Halfar from Cologne to Kaiserslautern
Erwin Hoffer from Dusseldorf to Karlsruhe

Also, the names mostly mentioned for Gladbach right now are Drmic, Ginter and Christensen.
Schalke seems to be keen on buying Johannes Geis of Mainz.
Suleyman Koc most likely from Paderborn to HSV.
Both Mainz and HSV are linked to swiss midfielder Fabian Frei.

BTW: A nice graphik comparing TV money of Premier League and Bundesliga sides. All numbers are in €.

So the last place team makes twice as much as the 2nd place team in the Bundesliga and nearly €40 M more then Bayern.

Admir Mehmedi from Freiburg to Leverkusen for €5.5 M.
And Josip Drmic most likely from Leverkusen to Gladbach for €10 M.

Though, I don't trust Express on numbers with that Drmic deal.

Schalke dont even have the money for Geis if you ask me.

It will take at least 12 mil., more likely 15 mil. + additional performance based payments to get him this summer.

Schalke without CL, with an incredibly overpaid roster are not in a position to pay 15 mil. for one player even if they sell Höwedes for 18 mil.

All about that marketing.

You have to get the English credit. They really sell their product well.

I know PL and La Liga have language advantages outside Europa that Bundesloha dont, but still. The clubs are awful at making their brand bigger. Way too conservative. Always buying the same players from the same market(Germany, Switzerland, Austria etc.) and appointing the same old boring managers. Patrick Herrmann is a better player than Raheem Sterling imo, but why is Sterling so much more valuable?

Most important country in Europa. World champs. But the marketing sucks.

Sterling is only 20, Herrmann already older. Sterling will turn out the better player.

How can three teams get relegated if Hamburg are to accomplish the relegation playoff threepeat?

Union Berlin. Tough life.

I know it's unimaginable for a HSV fan, but I'm proud of my team and enjoy watching them. They don't cause me anguish and delusion.

When it comes to us playing a third league or better team in the first two rounds of the Cup, I'm going to assume it's a loss. History shows that's a good way of dealing with it.

Armin Veh.

Same sh*t. Clubs appointing the same old boring nothing managers. Why not think outside the box like Southampton did with Koeman?

Why are Schalke not looking at Cocu for example? It just has to be a failed German manager.

Exactly, they should've thought outside of the box and hired someone like Labbadia...

Got some questions for you cgf.

1) How did you like the 11Freunde article with Kramer, which I send you, like?
2) How about Peniel Mlapa for Union Berlin?
Just a couple of pieces of "Bienenstich" and he could be yours...

BTW: It seems like Wilmots could actually take over at Schalke.
And Roberto Firmino will most likely leave Hoffenheim(big surpris) for about €30 M.

LMAO Eintracht Frankfurt. Veh said Eintracht isnt ambitious enough for him anymore and now they get him back.
I'd not want that traitor anywhere near my club if I was an Eintracht fan.

Regarding Schalke, Heldt once again showing his competence.
First the failed Tuchel deal, then the Keller & di Matteo fiascos.

Now he wasn't able to convince either Weinzierl & Wilmots and will probably appoint a coach in Breitenreiter who already has "D option" writen on his head.

And Tönnies still thinks this guy is a competent manager.

TBH I still haven't been able to bring myself to read it. Kramer was rapidly becoming one of my favorite players before I found out how exquisite his taste in favorite player was 8-) While Bayer have the most loathsome youth policy. Where at least FCVW/Hoppenheim/RB/Ingolstadt invest heavily in youth and their academies, Bayer gets away with the minimum and just vultures the rest of the nation because everyone knows that they are just a stepping stone; so kids can get fat checks while getting to a huge transfer quicker with no risk of being held from moving on.

So it's going to take a while for me to accept that the next time I watch Kramer play he'll be wearing that disgusting jersey, until then I won't be able to read that. Thanks for sending it though, I've bookmarked it so that whenever I get over it can go back and read it while starting to hope that Kramer quickly earns a transfer to a bigger club.

Plus I just recently found out that we let Jopek leave for Bielefeld. Which is just so lame. I massively dislike Bielefeld, and loved that kid. If only injuries hadn't kept him for securing his future with our squad. Like seriously, that's so **** lame. Moves like this and pushing Tusche out make me understand a little how frustrating being a HSV fan must be...

I wouldn't mind Mlapa. His finishing isn't there to play up front for a first league team and his technique isn't there to play on the wing, but in league two his physical tools can be useful, and we could have a very smooth midfield if Kreilach stays with us; with a versatile attack up front around Mlapa, Brandy, Jopek, Quiring and whichever of the loanees we manage to secure on permanents/whichever new loanees are brought in.

Wilmots would be such a boring and bland Schalke choice. This is why I said not firing Keller and paying Mainz for Tuchel last summer was a huge error on their part. Now they're stuck with yet another mediocre coach doing uninspiring work until he's fired.

BVB should jump on Firmino. Ciro/replacing Ciro is whatever, but adding Firmino would be huge for them. Having already snapped up Weigl and Burki this summer they'd just need that young LB to push Schmelzer out of the picture to be in a very good place for Tuchel to put together a beautiful team that could well win the EL if they can come together quickly enough to survive in that competition until they start clicking.

Dortmund don't have that money. They went risk mode last summer by investing 50+ mil.

Unless they sell a couple guys there is absolutely no way they buy anyone in Firmino's price range of 25 to 30 mil. €.

Yes they do. Even with the decreased TV money and no CL next year they have the money for at least one big transfer like Firmino without any sales. Nevermind if they get money from Barca for Ilkay this summer.

No, they don't. They will not put 10% of their overall revenue in one player without CL money.

In fact this summer, they are trying everything to keep the transfer fees down as much as possible.
a) Will buy Bürki over Horn, Trapp, Karius, Zieler (a blessing in disguise maybe  ) because he's cheap with Freiburg going down.
b) They tried to negotiate with Leverkusen to decrease Castro's release clause of 12 mil. €.
c) The Geis deal is going on for weeks now. They are lowballing Mainz hoping Geis will decide that he only wants Dortmund with Tuchel as their coach. It's also said the deal might only go through if Gündogan is sold.

Unless they create another 50 mil. by selling Gündogan, Ciro and whoever there is no way they are buying Firmino.
