I got tickets to all four games in Santa Clara. How often do you get a chance to see this level soccer?

It's only irregular this year, because it is a 100 year anniversary tournament

EDIT: nevermind, trying to get tickets for the Colombia game in Pasadena now :)

If Haiti is involved, Canada clearly could have been.

Would have made for a more credible opponent.

Group A has my vote for group of death. USA and Colombia headlines it but Paraguay is no slouch, they can be a homewrecker and Costa Rica could easily steal it from the popular vote. Throw in both Colombia's and USA's tendency to underplay, recipe for disaster. Vamos Colombia!

Group B Brazil will end up winning but a wide race between Peru and Ecuador. Both playing better than most expect.

Group C should be Mexico and Uruguay however Venezuela could be a make or break cuz they rely a lot on defense now.

Group D Argentina and Chile. What would be interesting to see is how Chile plays now without their manager from the cup and copa....

Sadly since our new coach won't have time to adjust to his system I don't see big chances at winning it all, making it past the group stage would be nice enough (except for the stupid press that thinks we're the #1 team in the world and whenever we lose it's a crisis).

Never won against Argentina in CA and Panama is an intriguing team, not worried in the least about Bolivia, thousand more years will pass and they will still park the bus.

Good thing I got my tickets last night just after the draw, I checked the updated prices from my section to be curious and saw that they shot up about $40-45 overnight.

you say this like it's a regular thing for them to play in California. Have they ever??

Argentina and Chile should easily advance from the group stage. By then, Chile could get back into a rhythm. Lots of injuries lately. Do you know of anyone besides Charles Aranguiz that will not be available for this tournament?
