Fantastic ending of the game. And his face did not even crack a smile...

Never thought I'd see the day that Union Berlin were in the CL, cgf's boys did it.

They're currently holding Real Madrid 0-0 at the Bernabeu, though the hosts have hit the post a couple of times now.

Indeed a very good achievement.

But can we also talk about the prestigious Real Madrid starting Joselu at striker? What a downfall for Madrid from the likes of Benzema, Ronaldo, etc. Better hope that they get Mbappe next year.

Second gold by Bayern a copy cat of Brighton goal - shocking how much space Gnabry had in the box.... both Martinez and Casemiro just watching and not marking at all. They need Varane back badly.

Brilliant play by Musiala, but it's unbelievable how many goals United concede from losing track of midfield runners. Go with the man. That's Sunday league level defending.

I just don't think I understand the handball rule.

There's no time for Eriksen to react there, it's right next to him. So is any contact with the hand a handball now? His hand isn't in an "unnatural position". Then there's discrepancies in how UEFA and the FA see it.

Generally, if your hands are up as Eriksen's were, it's an autocall. If they were down by his waist and his hand would hit, it would be a no-call. That's the typical judgement on "unnatural position."

Right, but I always thought that there was more leniency in regards to distance from the ball being struck to the contact with the hand.

well, score is 4-3 but based on how the game was going it was more like 6-3... Not sure many positives for Man U, defending was just atrocious..

Disappointing 4-3 Game. Manchester should have gave up 7 today.

I had high hopes coming into this season. Hope they turn it around for the next one.

If your hands are that high it doesnt matter. If his hands were at his sides, it's a no call, but you don't raise your hands playing defense ever. I'm old, I warm the bench at a pretty high level, and Im a CB. You torpedo, hands at sides like a pencil, to avoid this stuff, because again, it's an autocall.

His hands at his sides and it hits his hand? No harm no foul. If he has his back turned to the player (my preferred method for a shot block, make a little skirt with your hands, can't see, hands down near your sides, within the rules, plausible deniability, friggin vet move), no harm no foul.

Arsenal were up for it.
That's how you come back in the CL.

Also, Trossard is a cheat code.

Going back to the Milan game, I find it extremely interesting that UEFA selected Leao as man of the match, while all three major papers in Italy gave him the worst rating of all players

The critics in Italy are already fed up with his lack of finishing this season

BTW, Kane had a little dig at the EPL didn't he.

Still early so he has to say he made the right move.

But now he's playing for one of the clubs expected to advance far this season in the UCL.
