Re: 2013-14 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
Felix Kroos looks every bit as arrogant as his older brother Toni Kroos on the pitch only that he doesn't have the skill to back it up.
I don't know why Aaron Hunt doesn't demand a transfer. He will waste another year of his career playing against relegation.
Schalke, Leverkusen or Hannover would be good teams for him.

Re: 2013-14 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
I just still can't get over how well Lewa and Reus in particular have gelled with Auba. I figured Mkhitaryan would adapt more quickly as his game is almost a carbon copy of Kagawa with a little more size and speed, but Auba I figured wouldn't make a big impact until well into the fall.

My Eiserne don't get a home game but do get to travel to a third division side in the next round of the DFB pokal so I'm cool with it

Mainz vs. Cologne. Should be a good game.

Both are pretty much my two least favorite teams in the league so in a way I'm happy that one got destroyed but I don't like the fact that Hertha is the current leader. Not for long, though. Just hoping they'll have to relegate again.

Yes, still a starter but currently he is injured. Only a minor injury, though. He is 33 so hopefully he has another two solid seasons left.

Re: 2013-14 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
I wonder what it would take for Mertesacker and Low to lose their jobs before the WC? Replace them with Boateng/Wollscheid and Jupp and we'd be the heavy favorites. With them it'll take an absolutely herculean effort from the rest of the team.

I know, but Merte is still awful and Jogi still has no clue how to organize a defense.

Diekmeyer won't sign an extension with HSV. Hope he lands at Schalke cause he'd be a good upgrade on Uchida.

I lost all respect for him when he started kroos on the wings against Italy in the euro cup. I couldn't believe he would actually be that stupid and he should have been replaced after that game.
Jupp is just wishful thinking at this moment, it would be great to have him for the next euro cup and world cup after it though.

Re: 2013-14 German Bundesliga Discussion Thread
Btw. nice to see that there are new talents coming up.
Levi Öztunali from Leverkusen, who would be allowed to play for the German or Turkey national team and Timo Werner from Stuttgart, recently had their debut in the professional team. Both are the new record holders for youngest player ever played a professional game for their respectively team.
Öztunali was 17 years and 146 days, while Werner was 17 years and 120 days.

Dahoud for Gladbach and Meyer with Schalke are two other 17 year olds who will see the field this year. Other super talented teenagers/20-yearolds that should see significant PT include Goretzka, Calhanoglu, Parker, Volland, Fullkrug, Can, Bittencourt, Leitner, Hannover's Hoffmann, Dortmund's Hoffman, Duksch,

Nicolai Müller Fußballgott again!!!
2-0 lead in Freiburg. Very good.
Edit: Meh, 2-1. We can never keep a game under control.
Edit2: Haha Hamburg is terrible. 1-5 at home against Hoffenheim.
