Awful player, mind. Spurs should sell him.

I heard Gala want him.

I don't think he can live up to our standards. He is more of a player who does well in small teams such as Tottenham, Leicester etc.

When he is at the bigger stage, we saw how awful he is. Besides his awful display, I am still in shock what makes him think that he is soooo good. When there is a freekick- the way he walks towards the freekick spot and the way he moves before the shot(mind you shot goes out of the stadium) makes you feel like you are watching Messi who won trillion of trophies or Cristiano Ronaldo. Someone should wake him up. Dude you are Harry Kane. You have accomplished nothing in your life. You have 0 trophy. Don't walk on the pitch as if you were someone who won lots of trophies.

He's performed well and scored against just about every big club in the Premier League. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, City etc. At club level he always performs in the big games. We will see how he performs in the CL this season. His Euro 2016 was extremely disappointing, but you can't judge a player solely by his international output.

At Tottenham, everyone is looking for him. They always pass it to him. Just like Benteke in Aston Villa. Now he is at Liverpool. They are ready to ship his ass. Same for Kane. If ever goes to Man City or Chelsea or Manu, he won't make it out there. Just like he was awful with national team, he would be same for any big club.

Bit harsh and quite frankly a poor comparison. Considering that when Benteke was playing for Villa they were in a relegation battle with only him being the only player of talent in that squad, and for Liverpool they were nowhere near challenging for the CL spots. They never should've bought him since he clearly wasn't the type of striker that's thrived in both Rodgers and Klopp's system.

Whereas Kane's success and goalscoring exploits was for a team challenging for the top 4 in one year, and challenging for the title the next. Like Baph said, let's wait and see how he fares next year in the CL before claiming that he's the finished article.

Honestly, you are just clueless.

I have no intention of responding to your drivel from this point on, you have no capacity for rational thought.

Big Sam is getting a lot of mentions from former managers and players to take over the national team. He plays ugly football but he does seem to get the most out of his players. Plus he did well with Bolton so I support him because of that.

If someone thinks that Kane is a good player, I would suggest them to turn off the tv and watch some other sports. Clearly, they don't understand anything about this sport.

He is the biggest bust of England. First time in his life, he was on the big stage, he couldn't even score, shot the FKs out of the stadium, corners to his own net. Pretty embarrassing to me but hey you are tottenham fan, finishing top 16 is not a bad result for you.

Irrefutable proof right here that Massimo doesn't watch football, this is some next level drivel, maybe you should take your own advice. Comedic gold this is

I'm honestly hoping for Tottenham/Gala in the CL now

We had a Chelsea syndrome this year as well. I am just joking of course not that bad. We weren't around relegation zone like Chelsea but couldn't finish top 2 either. But thanks, I know Gala is the biggest club in Turkey and we should win every year as you thought the same without looking at our standings. :D

I know I've bagged on him in the past, but I wouldn't mind Fat Sam managing England. Unlike Roy I'd trust him to give the lads an absolute bollocking for performing the way they did at the Euros. He might be a bit of a one-trick pony tactically but that's better than being a no-trick pony, I suppose.

Jürgen Klinsmann is in talks with the FA about the England job.

Would be a good choice for England. You see what he has done with a bang average USA team(got out of the toughest group at the World Cup and reached the semis at Copa America).

Not a great tactician, but a great motivator and passionate man, and that's what England need.

Please take Klinsmann. If you thought Woy had terrible and no imagination lineups, JK is just as bad.

Loved Jurgen as a player but I have no interest in him as a coach, personally.

I won't be entirely against him taking the helm but there has to be better options out there.

Has done wonders with that USA team.

Advanced from the toughest WC group. Beat Ghana and were seconds away from beating the team that will play in the final at the Euros tomorrow. Almost took a good Belgium team to penalties(missed a sitter to make it 2-2.) And then reached the semis at the Copa America this year while teams like Brazil and Uruguay were knocked out early.

Amazing job with a bunch of average players.

I think if you talk to anyone who follow the USMNT enough, you'll find out that the general consensus is that he is an infinitely frustrating manager. While he doesn't have the best pool to work with, he doesn't utilize it well enough to maximize players abilities. He hasn't been able to find a set lineup since the first game of the WC and is constantly playing players out of positions.

His 23's from the last big couple big tournaments have been frustrating, all stemming back to cutting Landon Donovan out of the team. I think the most annoying thing that he keeps playing favorites with players that frankly suck (Orozco and Wondolowski come to mind). The only chance on a player that was of the ordinary has panned out well was Bobby Wood.

Another concerning thing for most US fans is that the team hasn't seen any improvement under his leadership, if anything the team has declined since he took over. People point out he got 4th in the Copa, never beat anyone that left you impressed. This is also a year after finishing 4th in the Gold Cup, which is horrible. This would have been to the perfect time to shift the team with eyes on the 18 WC and play youth, but Pulisic and Nagbe got little or no playing time and he constantly put out players like Wondo, Zusi, and Beckerman. Now we are stuck in a terrible spot where certain positions will likely be a problem due to age and lack of experience (experience that could have been gained at a tournament like this, where the results likely wouldn't be much different).
