they had Villa in SA who is a very good finisher and actually took some shots despite their playing style. sure they could still win but teams will be a lot more prepared for them as tournament progresses.

If Oezil doesn't try to keep going and just goes down at the end of the half that'd be a penalty shot to put us up 1-0 against spain, in which case they couldn't have scraped by with a 1-0.

I'm not gonna post the link, but there's a pic of an Irish fan in the crowd sucking some Croatian chick's boobie at the end of the last match. The Irish are there for the party.

On the next match day (18 June):
Spain will advance to the quarter-finals if
-they do not lose to Croatia OR
-Italy do not defeat Republic of Ireland.
Croatia will advance to the quarter-finals if
-they defeat Spain OR
-they draw with Spain with at least two goals scored OR
-they draw with Spain 1–1 while Italy defeat Republic of Ireland 2–0 or by a single goal margin OR
-Italy do not defeat Republic of Ireland.
Italy will advance to the quarter-finals if
-they defeat Republic of Ireland and the Spain–Croatia match does not end as a score draw OR
-they defeat Republic of Ireland by two or more goals, except for a score of 2–0 and the Spain–Croatia match ending 1–1.
