Absolutely, and I actually kind of love that whole cycle as a football fan. It keeps us sane during the offseason.

Realistically, Spurs could sign Neymar for 20p and our absolute ceiling is still 3rd at best. After seeing the news of Bissouma the delusional fan in me believes we can now hoist the quadruple, when the reality is we might win the Audi preseason Cup and a shared golden boot.

I don't know about that but I am enjoying this transfer window and the swiftness of the business so far. Chelsea will make some big signings, Arsenal and West Ham I'm not so sure about. We've got months of window still to go.

Paratici pretty much destroyed Juve but doing quite well for y’all.

Love both. Bentancur required a slight adjustment to the pace of the Premier League, as he dwindled on the ball for too long every now and then, but he's amazing at breaking up play and has improved at moving the ball faster. Really like him, think he'll play well next to Bissouma.

Kulu is a revelation. I was expecting him to be rawer based on the impressions from Juve fans, but he's got an old man game. Not a huge amount of pace but powerful and technical, he straight up bullies defenders at times with his strength and deception. Seems to be able to cut-in on his left foot with ease, a real natural. Excellent decision making and distribution on the ball.

Spurs fans love Paratici so far, if you factor in the success of Romero as well. Jury's still out on Emerson and Gil.

TBH I don't watch enough games anymore to have a good opinion on players.

A good one that can pass and break **** up would be nice.

I don't follow the rumor mill but do speculate on the market as a strategist. Isco is on free transfer now, and I think both PSG and Man U would be in no-lose situations signing him given he adds press resistance and makes switching to a possession based 433,4312, or 4231 more easy. He also adds some redundancy to Fernandes, though has better dribbling skill and worse pass decisionmaking (though high pass & possession %).

Some news for you guys:

- Man Utd are in discussions with Villarreal over Pau Torres the talks have been mostly positive.

- Tottenham have contacted Benoit Badiashile over a move in the last couple days (very good player)

- Ward-Prowse is admired by West Ham

- Inter offered £12.3 mill for the loan fee for Lukaku

- Everton may get taken over by a Saudi consortium, they have been impressed with the project of growing Everton and making Liverpool similar to Manchester is now with two huge clubs battling. (If this takeover happens there’s whispers that Everton will be third richest club in the world)

- Marco Asensio has been offered to premier league clubs such as Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham and Man Utd

- Leicester are interested in Kim Min-Jae from Fenerbache and Fabio Vieira

Oh and Real Madrid do like Bellingham a lot, they have spoken to his reps to let him know that. They are however unlikely to complete a deal this summer. Possible deal for summer 2023.

I’m sure you’ve seen as well that City have submitted a bid for Cucurella - Pep absolutely loves him and it’s part of the reason why he’ll let Zinchenko go. Personally I think Cucurella is a superior player to Zinchenko.

I've never heard of them.

Also it's a shame that the Saudis don't invest in their own country's teams. They could take European players over there with the money they can offer. England has always been the biggest of football leagues with the possibility to ascend and descend a reality. Ten billionaires make make the top places more competitive but the English football structure is weakened overall. If it happens we need controls in to spread the wealth from the top down through the pyramid. Premier league should be about status not money.

Kim Min Jae is a decent CB, I would guess that would be Vestergaards replacement?

Fabio is a good player still young also I think he’ll be a feature in this years World Cup maybe.

I agree with the spending, nearly all the prem has Billionaires now. This is what we were saying at work how a team finishing in the bottom half, can go and buy a top player from let’s say a team in the La Liga. In any other circumstance Villa should not be buying Diego Carlos and Kamara, especially after them making the Champions League this season just gone.

Honestly I can't see anyone taking Vestergaard off our hands. Fabio looks decent in the reviews I've been reading since you mentioned him.

Just seen that Haaland - despite a transfer fee of just £52m - has a £193m commitment over the 5 years. His agent Raiola got £26m and his father (as agent) £17m. These fees in general need investigating. They are obscene.

I’d imagine maybe one of the promoted sides might take a punt on him or interest from abroad.

Honestly the Haaland deal, is so corrupt lol. Most of these big transfers are, teams definitely slide money under the table to their families as well. One day football intermediary/agency will get regulated. The reason for these deals being high is not only the TV deals but also how much these intermediaries manipulate clubs into giving up more money. Saying all of this, football clubs are not saints in this either.

I love Kulu but we just didn’t have a role for him and he ended up being the odd man out. Always played him in positions that didn’t allow him to show his strength. It’s a damn shame really.

Bentancur drove me mad for several seasons. Would have paid to get rid of him. Great defensively but couldn’t make a pass. Still better than that punk Aaron Ramsey though

Chelsea are 100% the worst run club in London. One last transfer window of suffering window until Marina Granovskaia is finally gone.

Nah you guys have things cooking in the background, getting Lukaku off the books is the priority and then the dominoes fall.
