san marino guy is right, muller didnt have to play in this game, germany could've put out a under 21 team and still win comfortably. not like you have to set 25 player roster for qualifiers like you do in champions league.

also correct that football belongs to all countries not just the good ones.

Does Müller think 6-0 against Werder Bremen is pointless as well?

Exactly. The likes of England have a right to play too.

In the last couple of seasons, probably yes. Comparison is still terrible because I remember Werder winning more than one professional game.

Glad I tuned in for the Ireland vs. Wales 0 goal thriller.

No surprises in tonight's first round of qualifiers.

The worst thing about it is you see those challenges every week in the Premier League.

Agreed. Made even worse by the fact that he suffered a similar injury at one point in his career.

The match was horrible, there could have been countless sendings off. You know it's a bad match when the challenges and injuries overshadow the football.

Netherlands been a trash last couple of years... 2014 WC being exception. Talent pool isn't impressive.

You're right, they have been rubbish for a few years and their talent pool is not too impressive, but they should still be handily beating the likes of Bulgaria.

They're sitting at 4th in their group and are in serious danger of missing another major tournament if they don't shape up.

The fans in Azerbaijan are way too excited. This game is absolutely brutal...as usual.

So you think it's odd to be passionate about your country. Okay.

I think it's odd you're so hyped up when your team is down 1-3 and the game is absolutely disgusting to watch because the other team doesn't give a ****.

Well isnt that the case in most Bundesliga matches where Bayern is involved? What's the difference?

You know what you're talking about there, that's for sure. I still don't think a team can care less than the German NT in all qualification games. Bayern games are boring sometimes, but not THAT boring.

Disappointed that Denmark wasted numerous chances to win in Romania, dominated the end of the match but ball just did not go in... those missing two points could end up being costly at the end.
