Treiz,

I am not talking about potential. Why are you guys talking about potential? I am saying today's Kondogbia is better than all roma midfielders. He is already 22 years old so there is not much potential anymore. There is more who he already is. I do not value him based on 2-4 years down the line. I value for today's impact.

De Rossi is 32 and he has been declining for years now. Usually dm position hits their peak time between 28-32 but he has done absolutely nothing in those years. He had a potential to be a world class but he hasn't fulfill that potential. That's he stayed at roma even when they extremely sucked in his potentially prime years.

Bet is good. Let's see if you will be my another victim. Mind you, I am undefeated.

So you feel that Kondogbia is a better player now? Alright that's fair, that's your opinion, but I disagree with it.

That's why we're talking about potential though because he's 22, there's still potential there considering that his body hasn't even fully matured yet physically and he still has a lot to learn from his position. Ideally midfielders reach their full potential by the time they reach 27 or 28, if he keeps up his growth.

Of course De Rossi is declining everybody knows that, it's what happens when you've been playing at the top for so many years, especially with his all-action playing style, like you said he never reached his potential to be truly world class (I'd argue just on the cusp) but he was a damn very good midfielder during the last 5 years, and right now he's still a better midfielder than Kondogbia. His versatility to play in any position across the midfield (and defence occasionally) and the fact that he's technically more proficient and has a better work rate and stamina than Kondogbia, there's a reason why he's considered to be one of the best midfielders of his generation.

Also I think people would class him more as a box to box rather than a traditional DM, but that's besides the point. He's definitely more of a complete midfielder than you're giving him credit for.

Sure sounds good, like I said should make the Serie A more fun for me this year.

literally only last season was he regularly inconsistent so unless you believe that is indicative of a bigger problem for him then i dont see how that is valid. i can see the argument that he is not always world class but has the potential to be, but to say he is inconsistent because of that is incorrect imo.

:dontknow:
how is me thinking he is inconsistent "not valid"?

I'm still riding a high from that win. Buffon is legendary. Pogba was fantastic...scored a great goal that Morata fudged up for him and an assist. Hernanes did his job in the center great today. Cuadrado dominated the entire right side of the field. Mandzukic did what he had to do and score his chance. Morata played like crap only to score a brilliant game winning strike.
Can't ask for more than that

Balotelli looked pretty good coming on as a sub. I'm seriously hoping for him to make the NT for Euros but Conte probably isn't about it

Roma 2-2 at home against Sassaulo. They have similar talented players so it was a normal result.

On the other hand, Inter beat the most in form team in the league in Turin. 4 games 12 points. But their squad is ****. Lmaooo

I really think conte will have no choice in a couple months, balo is easily their best striker in form, and he's looking like just more than a striker right now playmaking looks like his niche. Haha hoping him and Rossi and team up front.

I probably will never forgive Prandelli for not calling up Rossi to the world cup. Conte better not do the same with Balo at euro if he continues to play well. If Rossi can get back into form that would be great but I don't know that he'll ever be as good as he was. I have serious hopes for Giovinco to make euros though.

Juve finally got a Serie A win and Inter keep winning. I'm surprised at how well Sassuolo have been doing without Zaza and Berardi injured. And I really like Torino this year...Quagliarella

mm yes, because roma and sassuolo finished near each other on the table with their similar level of talent.

anyways this result is a great example of how not playing in Europe benefits inter. Szcz gets hurt midweek against barca and we have to play De Sanctis, who was rather awful and at least responsible for one of those goals.

Caught the Milan Palermo match - Luiz Adriano looked like a total waste of space. Then they brought on Balo...who equally looked like a waste of space. That Bacca fella is immense though.
