In other news, the next Borussia Mönchengladbach coach might be Xabi Alonso.

These NT games have surely been hella boring.
Hope they will not impact the good run that we had prior to the break.
Gotta keep winning games.

What is going on here? This Wolfsburg squad is so freaking good but our beasts are just scoring at will. This efficiency is incredible.

Congratz on the CL spot. They are not going to screw this up.
I just hope the battle for 3rd place is decided soon.
Dont wanna imagine what happens if both Eintracht and Wolfsburg want to win when we play them.
Bielefeld won, Hertha draw yesterday.
We need to beat Cologne here.

Thanks, no it´s almost impossible to screw this up now. We got the big rocks out of the way. And it really pays off for us having no distractions from other competitions. It´s a fantastic season and a lot players have improved very much, but the uncertainty of Hütters future in Frankfurt is a bit annoying right now. Can live with Bobics desire to move on to the biggest city club on the planet tho.
Good luck. You guys have a lot of important games now. It´s a midsized miracle that you are even in this position now. Svensson did a hell of a job.
If Cologne can´t win today then they are heavy favorite to accompany Schalke.

Not gonna lie. Svensson is the first coach we have since Tuchel and Klopp that appears to really have a clue what he is doing.
The way he has turned this mediocre roster around has been incredible.

Cologne gets the handball penalty but elbow to the face is no penalty...will never understand these current rules.

Was a fairly unlucky loss today. No striker with goal scoring instinct upfront. Not all is lost, though.
Cologne really gotta pick up some points in the next two games against Leverkusen and Leipzig to stay fairly close to the rest of the teams. 1-3 points against those would already help.
The last 4 games are all very winnable.
Augsburg and Freiburg will have nothing to play for.
Hertha and Schalke are bottom feeders as well.
Might even catch Bremen who look in fairly poor form and have quite a bad amount schedule left.
Given our last 4 games are Bayern, Frankfurt, Dortmund and Wolfsburg...we definitely need to get a couple points ahead of 16th in the next two games.

It seems that Bobic, Huetter and Huebner are on their way out at the end of the season. Ridiculous.

Heard that Schröder and Beierlorzer are available. What do you think?
Kind of an unfortunate situation.
Given that manager and coach are now gone, you can be sure the squad will fall apart sooner than later as well.
Don't understand Bobic and Hütters decisions. Seems all about money.
They could've been a legendary duo and cement Frankfurt in the top 6 for years. Now people will remember them for leaving at the peak. That's it.
Doubt Frankfurt can continue their positive development without these two.
At least, they are not doing a Costa Concordia captain move on Eintracht Frankfurt the way Schröder did on Mainz, though.

It´s a lame duck deluxe situation. Bobic needs to be replaced immediately so we can move on with our plannings for next season.
They can´t wait another 3 weeks with this.
As long as we didn´t f`d up our momentum i´m good with both leaving. They are replacable imo. If playing on the biggest stage in european football means nothing to them than by all means just go. We still have Ben Manga who is one of the best squad planners out there. And there should be enough money available if key players leave.
