Saudis already blow out the budget?

The opposite actually most Football media, fans like me who hate the new rich teams are surprised they are still playing Pope,Joelinton, Wilson,Woods, Almiron level. Saint Maximin is too good for them but he isnt new. Only quality young player they bought is Bootman.

Their directors are weird trying to build a decent team slowly. Don't they know they are new filty rich and "should" pay 100 million for every big name not in Liverpool/City/Real/PSG. ;)

Virgil should donate his salary this week. Because he certainly hasn't earned it. Amateur play.

 That's the way football goes most of the time, the team that is the overwhelming favourites bottle it. I'm tempted to put you guys on my accumulator as the odds are looking good right now.

Awful. No depth whatsoever. Milner isn't good enough. Why is Harvey Elliott getting minutes?

Ahh, that feels nice. Hopefully we never see Maguire and Shaw play together again.

Under no illusion should Milner be starting for Liverpool. I think Klopp has to dip into the market as soon as possible, if I were Liverpool I’d try and throw money at Dortmund for Bellingham.

They showed Ronaldo in some box above the pitch in the second half and now he's playing?

Or am I imagining things?

Pool spent some money over the summer but with just 2 points in the first 3 matches, they got to be looking to spend more?

Liverpool's directors, Klopp is now just too arrogant with their lack of midfield depth, not buying quality players to replace Gini, Thiago. Henderson isn't of the same level as before, he gave united the second goal. You can't compete with City waiting for 19 year Elliott, 20 year old Carvalho. By the time Jota, Thiago, Konate, Matip is back, City will be 10 points ahead, champions again by January. So unnecessary....

Spent money ONLY on Nunez who is good but they lost two of the best goalscorers last season in Mane,Jota(injuries).
They should have bought more players like Fabinho/Thiago/Gini level in midfield. You can't win pressing high with Miller, baby thin Elliott, Henderson.....

Klopp also needs to adapt Liverpools tactics. He’s pretty much had the same one for the last few seasons and teams are making it hard for them.

Brilliant performance by United.

Honestly, big credit to them. Huge pressure performance. I think it would have gotten ugly if they'd conceded first, but they came flying out of the gates and looked the better team for pretty much the whole match.

Happy for Rashford to score and play well, too. He seems like a nice lad and I feel like he hadn't recovered from that penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final.

That is the danger for Klopp right now, not adapting the tactics when you don't have the players for it anymore is what destroyed Mourinho's rep. Pep did the same mistake before he made City more direct offence, defensively better balanced. You can't blame VVD,Gomes for the high line defending because Klopp is playing midfield that dont fit his tactics. Without ball winners, ball carriers his midfield don't work at all. You can't blame Milner for being slow at 36, Elliott not being powerful like Gini was.

Arsenal added to an FFP watcH list of 20 clubs by UEFA. Other teams have not been named yet.

FFP is suppose to apply to a multi year period of losses. Arsenal reported like £107 million in losses for the year ending May 2022.

But they’ve spent heavily in the past two years, about £250 million. They may spend more for this season, supposedly considering buying Neto.

They also ate the contracts of former players like Ozil.

Last season, Emirates looked pretty full, at least in the Amazon doc, especially latter half of the season.

Presumably they’re going to do well with attendance and things like jersey sales this season, unless Things really fall apart.
