Dortmund win and go top of the table while Ibisevic scores a hat trick. Great day overall

Before the season everybody thought Bayern had too many midfielders.
Now...Götze, Thiago and Martinez out for a few weeks. Schweinsteiger injured, too. Maybe they should've kept Luiz Gustavo.

Löw resigns until 2016. Two more titleless tourneys coming up.

The contract can be terminated after the WC by either side, so I'm hoping if he can't bring home the title he'll be fired.

Pretty crazy indeed! "Kleines dünnes Klose" just doesn't have the same ring to it, though.

Can't we just skip this game against Faroese Islands? Klose will probably use this game to add another 3 goals to his total but I really couldn't care less. :dontknow:

Btw. postup you living in Cologne? If so....are you travelling to the DFB Pokal game in Mainz?

I really want to go to that game but it absolutely collides with of my bachelor thesis. :-?
Stadium is still half empty and I don't expect more than 20.000 to come for a mid of the week game. So maybe I'll pick up a ticket on match day.

I'm hoping we get to see Kruse since I think he's our best option up front in Jogi's 4-2-3-1

Kruse
Reus-Ozil-Mueller
Khedira-Schwein/Ilkay
Schmelzer-Mats-Boa-Lahm
Neuer

that's our best lineup until Jogi gets replaced by a coach innovative enough to use a 4-3-3-0

Dortmund with a perfect start of 5 wins in a row. Aubameyang looks like a good addition. Using his speed and the passing of Mkhitaryan, Gündogan, Sahin and Reus/Kuba he'll score a ton of goals.

Where are the people that claimed Bayern would run away with the Bundesliga title again now?

It is still early. They may still run away with it.

It is already visible that Dortmund is a legit challenge to win the title. Lost two contributors in Götze and Santana and added three in Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and Sokratis. Add in the fact that they underachieved in the Bundesliga last year and you know they'll scratch the 80 point mark again like in 11/12.

It remains to be seen whether Bayern can keep up with this with a new system and a team that won everything last season.

I agree with you that Dortmund will be a legit threat for the title and that Bayern will not be as good as last year. I was just saying that it is too early since we haven't even started to play the extra games that test teams' depth and consistency such as CL and cup games.

Hoffenheim v Gladbach should be tasty even without Firmino.

With only two teams ever (1x Bayern, 1x Dortmund) reaching the 80 point mark in history (including adjusted 2 point system), I doubt that.

Only team that was close is Bayern '72, '73 (79 points) & '99 (78 points).

End to end stuff in the opening minutes. Volland is exceptional.

Dortmund are legit again this season. The Bayern-Dortmund games should be as epic as ever this year and I see Borussia edging it out for the title

Dortmund got better. Mkhitaryan and Auba with Lewa and Reus? There isn't a weak link there & the pivot of Bender + Gundogan is to die for.
