Esswein barely even a starter for a Sandhausen team that is in danger of relegation in 2nd Bundesliga. Just two goals all season.

How was this guy so long a Hertha player Nathan?

Hamburger SV making No_20 proud.
Own goal and loss in an important game.
3rd spot now. Relegation match is the max. they‘ll reach. My money is on: They‘ll lose that 3rd spot as well.

Battle for most disappointing next year: HSV vs. S04

I think we all had a good laugh and they deserve the mess they are in, but on the other hand i really want them to come back. I have so many good memories with this club back in my 20´s (moved to Hamburg for 18 months because of a girl who was a HSV fan). Don´t want to see them going the same way as Kaiserslautern. But it seems that the structures in this club are forever ****.

I'd rather have St. Pauli back tbh.

If Hamburg don't make it this year, things will get increasingly different for them because of the finances.
Only way I can see them coming back then is if they decide to make it a 20 team league which won't happen because the Bundesliga clubs don't want to share money with 2 additional teams.

Thought I will share. Always awesome to see the players celebrations from behind the goal imo.
Way closer better view than seeing it on tv.

Schalke players are now officially allowed to decide themselves whether they want to play the final games due to the fan violence.

Not sure what is wrong with Schalke management. Yeah, those fan actions were over the top. But at least show you are a man, play the final games and then look for a less chaotic club.

Safe to say they will not pick up another point.

Congratulations Cologne and Hertha to 3 points.

Things are getting increasingly difficult for us now that you won.

Cologne should win at least two of Hertha, Freiburg and Schalke. Entirely out of the question they win even all of them.

We are meanwhile looking at 0 points from Bayern.
Then Hertha - must win (kind of afraid of this one).
Eintracht
Dortmund
Wolfsburg
Last 3 fighting for UCL...ugh.

Might get just 2-3 points out of these 5 games, which will not be enough to directly stay in the league.

Praying for some Bremen and Bielefeld losses this weekend.

Knowing Gladbach since Rose leaving was announced they lose against Bielefeld, though.

Looking at Herthas schedule they have 6 winnable games left...and we are only 5 points ahead. Gotta beat them to stop any momentum.

At least, though they‘ll have to play every other day.

I really have no idea what to expect. Hertha and Schalke are winnable games but if we cant beat them then we probably dont deserve to stay up. Hard to believe that we've just won 2 straight. This has been such a crazy week

I‘ll be honest...my wish this year would be to have Bremen and Augsburg relegated. Those clubs are kind of the least likeable for me because of their arrogant management and coaches.
Actually, want Funkel to do well after he was relegated with Düsseldorf last year - just not at our expense hahaha.
Hertha being relegated would suck for Nathan but the irony of Bobic choosing 2nd league instead of Champions League would be rather funny.

Think 37 points is the magic number. If you reach those, you’ll stay in. There will be multiple teams with 35/36 points.

Düsseldorf and Kiel winning.

HSV chances to reach 3rd spot decreasing every minute.

Edit: Düsseldorf throwing the game away in HSV fashion.

Sloppy Bayern team.

Neuer with a big mistake.

Had chances to go up 3:0...but only 1:0 so far.

Amazing what Svensson has turned this team into.

5 minutes to go...will we really manage to snap Bayern 67 games with at least a goal streak?

Thanks. 27 points from 13 games in the second leg of the season.

Dont think anyone could‘ve imagined that after we finished the 1st leg with just 7 points.
