But sadly I dont think you'll win. World Trade Center was still standing last time you beat Man Utd at home, Pochettino has never beaten Man Utd, you've never won or scored against Van Gaal, Kane never scored against ManUtd or De Gea.

Lads, it's United
United-Spurs is such a far cry from what it used to be. Fergie must be fuming.

LVG is lying a great foundation though. Next manager will pick it up. Just like Heynckes did it at Bayern.

That was by far the hardest fixture that Spurs have left this season and they've won 3-0.
Should make 15 points and have the better goal difference.

^In all fairness I think everyone's still waiting for Leicester to bottle it. Glad they haven't so far.
Feel so sorry for Darmian, he's had such a terrible game since coming on.

Re: 2015-16 English Premier League Discussion (Thread II)
How would everyone's PL XI look this season? Mine would be something like this:
De Gea
Bellerin - Alderweireld - Huth - Rose
Drinkwater - Alli
Payet - Ozil - Mahrez
Kane
Bench: Cech, Vertonghen, Morgan, Kante, Coutinho, Vardy, Aguero
Really hard to omit Kante and Vardy from the starting XI given how they've played this season. Leaving Eriksen out was hard as well. De Bruyne would probably be there over Coutinho if he'd played more, he's been solid.

Will be interesting to see Payet vs Kanté this weekend.
IMO best offensive vs best defensive midfielders.

Really surprised to you see you omitting Vardy. First, obviously, we're not discussion who the better player is, I'm just discussing who had the best season and that always has a context.
Checking stats, he has 21 goals for Leicester and 6 assists. Kane has 22 goals and 1 assist. They played about the same minutes, Kane has 1 more goal through penalty kicks. Kane has more shots per game.
If we dig further into the teams, we know that Tottenham are far more attacking and more dominant in possession than Leicester. Spurs average 55% for the season. Leicester 45%. Spurs have 17 shots per game. Leicester only 13 shots.
We're talking about someone who does damage through being played long balls and then often taking on two or three defenders, like he again did yesterday to win the game at Sunderland. Considering the context of the teams, it's obviously far more impressive to score 20 goals with Leicester, than it is with Spurs.
With all that said, we know that they will both be in the best XI. And we also know that Vardy will be the player of the season.
I'd also replace Drinkwater with Kanté and Huth with Morgan. Rose with Aaron Cresswell.

I've been disappointed with Cech. Thought he would be win them more points. Remember before the season there was a massive w*nkfest over that transfer. Everybody though the was the missing piece.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Re: 2015-16 English Premier League Discussion (Thread II)
Rough draft of my XI, should be along the lines of this:
De Gea/Lloris/Schmeichel
Bellerin/Walker
Alderweireld/Morgan/Huth/Smalling/Vertonghen
Rose/Fuchs/Cresswell
Kante/Dier/Drinkwater
Payet/Alli/Mahrez/Ozil
Kane/Vardy/Lukaku
Pretty difficult to leave out De Bruyne, Silva, Lanzini, Antonio, Daniels, Gomes, Butland, Aguero among others.

Vardy >>>> Kane this season and it is not even close.
Kane is playing with eriksen, lamela, Alli etc.
Only good player next to Vardy is Mahrez and no one even knew these players existed before

cech has won us a ton of points this season.. but a goalkeeper can only do so much. You make it sound like he has been awful and lost points routinely when thats hardly been the case. He was the missing piece in goal , the rest of the team faltering doesn't change that.

Ton of points? Only remember Newcastle at Emirates and maybe Stoke away.
Remember the Joe Allen equalizer at Anfield that basically ruined your season? That's the type of save you expect a keeper like him to make.

It's not about what you remember. It's about what actually happened. What you can remember in your brain is not the entire world.
