Step down from Rudiger, IMO.

Definitely a step down, but I think in the right situation Ake can be good. I'm wondering if Chelsea is the right place for that to happen though

Pretty much LOL he didn't want to leave and Barca have force him on to UTD's hands, it's quite remarkable seeing a club doing it to a player that doesn't want to leave rather than a player doing it to a club that doesn't want to sell.

Is there any truth to the Bergwijn to Everton rumours?

There’s an offer out for Gordon from Tottenham and for Richarlison (this is close to being completed) and Tottenham want to include Bergwijn and Lucas Moura plus money.

Everton would be stupid to accept the part exchange offer, Bergwijn is alright but I’m totally convinced by Moura anymore

Ok, thanks.

I'm still hoping that Bergwijn will go to Ajax.

From what I've heard is that the deal between Bergwijn and Ajax has been agreed, however Tottenham are now trying to use Bergwijn to get Richarlison

Why not just use the money from the Ajax deal to get him? Everton can then spend it on anyone they wish.

Levy thinks he's smarter than most people and I personally think it's one of the reasons why Tottenham have made some questionable decisions over time.

When Villa were relegated he did something similar with Grealish, he wanted him and he could of had him but he offered £3 mill + Josh Onomah lol which got rejected and the rest is history.

Levi Colwill may end up at Leicester, Brighton are also in the race though.

Anyone have an update on the Matthjis De Ligt situation? Sounds like he is going to renew his contract with Juventus but it lowers his Buy Out fee, which then in turns allows him to leave this year?

Juventus will probably just sit and wait for a 85 to 95 mil bid to come through, down from his 120 mil clause now.

Not sure, but big deals normally take a while to go through because of the paperwork and agreeing on the structure of the payment from the buying club. I think it's closer to completion than it's being reported, the media are normally a few days late.

I'll find out a bit more if I can today.

Could Spurs be jumping ahead of Liverpool for 2nd place in the prem this year?
